...down, that is. Page Six reports that the pink-haired singer was "visibly upset" on New Year's Eve when, while hosting at Prive nightclub, rapper 'Lil Jon "grabbed his own mike and stole the show" from Lavigne. Apparently, she was slated to call the countdown to 2008.
How rude! Avril clung to husband Deryck Whibley and cried, "I wanted to do the countdown!" Some Dom Perignon was brought over and she calmed down. Hey, when doesn't champagne make you feel better?
Relax, Avril! You can do it next year. Maybe.
