The Stars Step Out For The 17th Annual Critic's Choice Awards
Posted on Thu Jan 12, 2012 09:00 PM PDT

Silent film The Artist and mega-hit The Help were the big winners at tonight's 17th Annual Critics Choice awards!
Emma Stone, who rocked a green Jason Wu gown paired with Alexander McQueen shoes and a Bottega Veneta handbag, saw The Help take home three awards tonight, including Best Actress, Viola Davis, Best Supporting Actress, Octavia Spencer, and Best Acting Ensemble cast!
George Clooney, who's best accessory was his white-hot girlfriend Stacy Keibler, took home a Best Actor Critic's Choice Award for his role in The Descendants -- does this mean a Best Actor Oscar could be next?
Brad Pitt attended the awards show solo, but brought along his cane for support -- his ski injury must still be bothering him! The actor's film, Moneyball, won Best Adapted Screenplay, and The Tree of Life actually tied with War Horse for Best Cinematography -- is that even allowed?
The Artist, which was shot as a silent film in black and white, went on to win Best Picture, Best Director, Best Costume Design and Best Score.

Khloe Kardashian Betrayed! Husband Lamar Odom's Shocking Night With Strippers: Multiple eyewitnesses have told RadarOnline that Odom dropped hundreds of dollars on dancers and at one point was sprawled out in a dimly lit corner of Stadium Club strip club, a venue that bills itself as a "five star dining and premier gentleman's club experience." At one point, the eyewitness said Odom, 32, even went into a private room with one stripper who was a "Khloe look-a-like!"
"That's where the VIPs go when they don't want to be seen publicly with a stripper," the source at the venue said.
"Lamar disappeared into the back of the venue where the private rooms are. He was there for quite awhile
.............stars?
IN WHAT PRECIZE?
I have to say that Brad Pitt looked hot as hell!!!
A couple of more needles just got stuck into Blohan's Emma Stone voodoo doll!
Why did Dictator Supporter Sean Penn Win this Award ? Sean Penn is a Huge Supporter of Violent Dictator Hugo Chhavez and Cahvez is getting a lot worse , as he just meet the 'holocaust denier' dictator Ahamdinejad . Chavez and Iran's Ahamadienjad are friends and military allies and sworn enemies of the USA (by their own accounts). By Sean Penn winning , it Shows that the Awards Show is Corrupt and Bias and needs to have a lot more competition.
hey look is grandpa Pitt.
Ahhh yes, Octavia Spencer is nominated for best supporting actress along with Viola Davis for best actress at the Oscars. They will be rewarded Sunday night (my predictions) for carrying the Hollywood tradition of perpetuating the negative IMAGES of the black woman. There are several stereotypes but the two that are namely rewarded in Hollywood are the "slut" and the "mammie". Now, Halle Berry acted in a porn in Monster's Ball. Let's not kid ourselves, the entire movie was written around the climax - the explicit sex scene with Billy Bob Thorton and Halle Berry. Halle cannot and I repeat cannot ACT! She cries the same way with the same accent and same tone of voice in every movie. She shakes and shows her sagging breasts. She mumbles in every film. She was rewarded for playing the stereotype that has plagued Black women since the abolishment of slavery, whore.
On the other hand, you have the "mammie" or the unglamorous, masculine, hard, dark, fat, black woman. They come is all different types of Oscar and Golden Globe winners: Monique, Jennifer Hudson, Whoopi Goldberg, Hattie McDaniel, etc. Even coons win like Cuba Gooding Jr. for that disgusting role!
Both Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer will win for two reasons:
1- Oscar needs ratings and what better way to get Nielsen ratings and publicity than to make history awarding two black women in one night!
2- Black people have been complaining for years about not being acknowledge by the Academy. So, for the past decade, they have been giving you Black people what you wanted: awards. But look at what you are being awarded for! Denzel Washington's role as a drug dealing, murdering, loud, ghetto cop. Monique as....herself...and the list goes on and on.
So, thank you Hollywood for ignoring glamorous Black women, Black women who CAN act, Black women who are not going to subject themselves to dehumanizing roles!
Thank you for continuing to ruin the image of Black people!
