She was number 6 on last year's Maxim Hot 100, and now Israeli beauty Bar Refaeli has taken the crown from Transformers starlet Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who dropped down to number 11 on the magazine's annual list.

Olivia Munn came in at number two, followed by Mila Kunis, Katy Perry and Olivia Wilde, and Jennifer Lawrence, Emma Stone, Megan Fox, Malin Akerman and Adrianne Palicki (huh?) round out the rest of the top ten.

While most of the honorees deserve to be on the list, we're kinda confused as to how Stephen Colbert (#69) and Amanda Knox (#92) made the cut. We love Mr. Colbert, but unless he's rocking a bikini or lacy undies, we're not so sure that he should be included...

Bar Refaeli was snapped shopping in Beverly Hills today, and is it just us, or has Leonardo DiCaprio's former lady love put on a few pounds? Not in a bad way, but she definitely looks a bit curvier than usual!

In other news, Bar is featured in Sports Illustrated's 2012 Swimsuit Issue, and not only does she pose with Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps and NBA star Chris Paul, but she takes off her top for a hot shot with tennis pro Rafael Nadal! After the magazine hit newstands, Bar tweeted at the athletes, "FINALLY it’s out! so much fun working with legends as u! u guys rock! loved every moment! LUV the pictures."

The studying is paying off, because Bar Rafaeli definitely gets an A+ in sexiness.

The 26-year-old Israeli-born stunner struck a pose for Agua Bendita’s 2012 swimwear collection. She recently confessed that she studies all her modeling photographs to ensure she meets her "sexiness" potential to the fullest.

Leonardo DiCaprio's ex-ladylove recently confessed to GQ mag:

"I’ve learned how to do this. I study all of my pictures. Which turn of the hip is sexier, which toe to curl or leg to straighten. I know every bone. I don’t feel the need to be super skinny, but being in shape is important. But even if I wasn’t in this industry I would still want to look after myself and be healthy and keep my body in good condition."

Bar also confessed that she doesn't kill herself with crazy diets and long hours at the gym, revealing: "I always want to look my best on a shoot, or for a fashion show, so I do an extra couple of sit-ups the night before and I drink hot water with lemon to get my metabolism kick-started in the morning."

Since Bar split from former boyfriend Leonardo DiCaprio back in May, she's since been spotted spending time with a rumoured new boyfriend, businessman David Fisher.

Said Leo's ex:

Ms. Refaeli, who split from Leo Dicaprio earlier this year, began her career in a baby commercial at just eight months.

No word yet on the cause of the Sports Illustrated cover girl's broken arm. There's nothing worse than having to sport a cast during the summer!
