Barack Obama Wins Nobel Peace Prize

President Barack Obama has won this year's Nobel Peace Prize for his "extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples," the annual award's committee said in a statement this morning.
Thorbjorn Jagland, the chairman of the Norwegian Nobel Committee added, "We are not awarding the prize for what may happen in the future but for what he has done in the previous year. We would hope this will enhance what he is trying to do."
The only other sitting US presidents to win the award were Theodore Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson.
But what's he going to do about the problems in our country, hmm?

The Nobel prize committee explained why they picked me. They picked him because they like the positivity he's brought to the office already and they decided to give him the price to ENCOURAGE him to act for peace. Is it too soon for him to get the prize. I do believe so.
But the committee has explained why they gave him the prize so soon and let's hope that Obama will be encouraged to act more for the sake of peace, unlike the last president who was a war monger!

The Obama administration promised Congress on Tuesday to negotiate stronger privacy protections for Americans under terrorism surveillance but insisted on retaining current authority to track suspects and obtain records.
Liberals on the House Judiciary Committee were left unsatisfied, clearly wanting the administration to go further and pledge to curb what they consider abuses of the Bush administration.

The nobel peace prize is now a bigger joke. What the hell has he done to deserve it? Nothing. That's right....NOTHING!
That seems to be the new thing. Do nothing - sit on your ass - get a gov't check and let the hard working americans that have paid for it all along suffer.
