It was family day in Hollywood yesterday, as Will and Jada brought their kids...and Fergie (?) to the premiere of Madagascar 2, where they joined Ben and Christine, Chris Rock and his family, Toni Braxton's brood, Debi Mazar with her husband and kids and the film's star, David Schwimmer.
Think the highly anticipated DreamWorks sequel can out pace Disney's HSM 3?

Tom and Katie hit the town last night with adorable little Suri (who wasn't giving us any winks this time) and Tom's Tropic Thunder co-star and director, Ben Stiller!
Now, Ben used to do an amazing imitation of Tom back in the day, and I think it's a great testament to Tom's personality that instead of being insulted, he's honored by it! Now it seems the pair have even become friends!
Now, I haven't seen it yet, but I'm dying to see Tom's cameo as a studio exec in Tropic Thunder. I hear he steals the whole show!

TomKat weren't the only celebs at the Tropic Thunder premiere last night (which we hear is hysterical), actor/director Ben Siller, Robert Downey, Jr., who apparently steals the show, Jack Black (with what looks like a jacket painted with bolts of lightning!), and Matthew McConaughey, who replaced Owen Wilson in an uncredited cameo also showed up to walk the red carpet!
This time, luckily, Matty left Levi at home, but check out all the stars at the Tropic after party at Crown Bar!

Today MTV announced that Tom Cruise, Will Smith, Charlize Theron, Rainn Wilson and Anna Faris have been added to the already stellar list of presenters for the 2008 MTV Movie Awards.
Previously revealed presenters include Ben Stiller, Sarah Jessica Parker, Will Ferrell, Lindsay Lohan, Steve Carell, Jack Black, Robert Downey Jr., Liv Tyler, Seth Rogen, Megan Fox, Edward Norton, Jennifer Hudson, Dwayne Johnson, Anne Hathaway, James Franco, Rumer Willis, Emma Stone, Brendan Fraser, Katharine McPhee and Danny McBride. Additionally, Coldplay and The Pussycat Dolls will perform at the awards show and debut new music.
What a lineup! We can't wait to see what the stars are wearing and who brings home the golden popcorn! The 2008 MTV Movie Awards will be hosted by comedian Mike Myers, and will be broadcast live from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California on Sunday, June 1 at 8pm/7c. We'll be watching!

In their second week of picketing, the writers pulled out the big guns Tuesday in front of Universal -- namely, big name tv and film actors who walked the picket lines in a show of solidarity with the people who create the characters they play. Desperate Housewives' Felicity Huffman, Nicolette Sheridan and Dana Delaney (where were Teri and Eva?) joined Ben Stiller, Kathy Griffin, Sarah Silverman and Mary Lynn Rajskub (and more!) joined over 2,000 writers who are standing up to the big media conglomerates who are making bazillions off their work on DVDs and Internet downloads. The AMPTP has yet to return to the bargaining table, so there's no word on whether or not your favorite shows will be running out of episodes (or in the case of 24, even starting up) soon.
Ben Stiller is shooting a new movie in Hawaii called Tropic Thunder - it's a war comedy, which sounds HILARIOUS - and that's why he's wearing those weird hooks. So, it'd be fine if the kid wasn't there, but don't you think Stiller almost stroking the cheek of a toddler (with his huge hook!) is a bit more creepy than cute?
Ben Stiller spent another day of fun in the sun on the island of Kaui yesterday. Unfortunately, he still had his shirt on, but at least we still have Matthew McConaughey's bare chest to look at!

What, you thought Matthew McConaughey was the only celebrity Surfer Dude? We spotted Ben Stiller slicing through the waves down in Maui yesterday, and we have to admit to being a little shocked to see how well Ben surfed - our photographer never caught him wiping out even once! But hey, that's just Ben for you - he's a bad mother Focker!
