On Monday Jason Hoppy and daughter Bryn spent some quality time together in New York City, and despite an awkward encounter with ex-wife Bethenny Frankel last week, it looks like things have calmed down a little bit for the feuding family.

Both Hoppy and Frankel were present at Bryn's third birthday party at Dylan's Candy Bar in N.Y.C. on May 4, but a source tells Us Weekly that the former spouses "stood on different sides of the room the entire time." How awkward!

While the Skinnygirl mogul chatted with friends, Hoppy hung out with his dad Bob and mom Carol, and the insider added, "Bryn went nuts when she saw her grandparents." Frankel and Hoppy are reportedly close to working out a settlement, and a judge has given them until May 24 to agree on child and spousal support and custody of their daughter.

While Bryn was enjoying solo time with daddy, her talk show host mommy attended the Robin Hood Foundation Gala in N.Y.C.

The talk show host looked fit as a fiddle in a pair of skinny silver pants and a sequined jacket. After hosting her daughter Bryn's third birthday party, she ditched New York City for Los Angeles on Wednesday and caught up with a friend over dinner last night.

The Skinnygirl mogul had a more significant reunion on Saturday when her estranged husband Jason Hoppy dropped by their daughter's party at Dylan's Candy Bar in N.Y.C. The couple, who filed for divorce in January, have been engulfed in a bitter custody battle since then.

“I felt like there was an expectation to be someone that I wasn't," she told People magazine. "My marriage made me feel like I was a bad person, like I was damaged, I was dysfunctional, I was never going to be happy. But I don't believe that to be true. Yet there I was -- in a relationship that made me feel that way."

What's worse? The couple still lives in the same household.

“My living situation is very, very stressful," she said. "I don't think it's very healthy for anyone involved. It's very upsetting. You just have to endure it."

The business mogul will also talk about her difficult divorce on The Ellen DeGeneres Show today.

She's probably fulfilling work commitments!

Frankel recently described the ordeal to Good Day New York anchor Greg Kelly as a "brutal, unnatural situation." "I have to say, divorce is the most difficult thing you could ever go through in your entire life," the talk show host said. "I never heard how excruciating it is."

Someone's enjoying the single life!

Bethenny Frankel put her best foot forward on Friday when she wore a sexy pair of red jeans on the way to Soho House for lunch in New York City. That color looks good on her!

The newly single former reality star also has big plans in the horizon for her SkinnyGirl as she's looking to expand her line of wine and spirits and power bars to include more food products.

"You'll definitely see Skinnygirl food," Frankel said in a recent interview. "If it's something that I'm passionate about, if it's something that solves a problem for women in particular because that's who I connect with the most, and (it's) any product that I can improve upon or any problem that I can solve, then Skinnygirl will be attached to that."

The former Real Housewives of New York City star admits juggling all her responsibilities isn't as easy as it looks, though!

"Exercising definitely reels you in when you're wound up. Do you feel like your whole life is scheduling & logistics," she tweeted recently.

When you have a nationwide brand, your own talk show, and parenting duties, it must be hard to find time in the day to manage everything!

On Friday Bethenny Frankel was snapped in New York City with rollers in her hair, and the Real Housewives starlet tweeted, "I used to detest the process of getting ready, but I now kind of enjoy the escape & nothingness of making yourself pretty for the night." Wonder where she was headed?

In other news, while Bethenny and husband Jason Hoppy announced that they were splitting in early January, Hoppy is still wearing his wedding ring, and a source tells Radar, “Bethenny just can’t understand why Jason is still wearing his wedding ring! It makes absolutely no sense to her because they have zero plans for reconciliation. Bethenny thinks he’s doing it to garner sympathy and to appear as the wounded party. Jason told her he’s still wearing the ring so that their two-year-old daughter, Bryn doesn’t get confused. But that reasoning doesn’t fly with Bethenny because Bryn’s still too young to understand that her parents are getting divorcing, or to even comprehend what that means.”

Of course, the real problem here could be that Jason is jealous of Bethenny's close friendship with billionaire Warren Lichtenstein. The two have reportedly been chummy for two decades, but Jason isn't feeling it. “Jason has told Bethenny he doesn’t want Bryn to be around Warren, but she doesn’t care what he thinks,” the source added. “Warren adores Bryn and Jason can’t tell Bethenny what to do anymore.”
