Alicia Keys is looking a little softer these days, without the braids and jeans. I interviewed this amazing artist years ago, just as "The Diary of Alicia Keys" was coming out and frankly, she was kind of intimidating! Here she was, this new artist, young, but so confident and tough. Looks like she's moving into another phase right now as she promotes her new movie "Smokin' Aces" -- and she's pretty smokin'!

yeah not impressive in person she seems really cold but I dont know why cause she is an amazing artist but shes not all that by any means

Alicia is smart as a whip, but possesses a cold, croaky voice
and generic piano skills. Her songs are poor imitation of her heroes like Nina Simone, Sam Cooke and Aretha. She's good on paper but it's awfully contrived and tastes like microwaved leftovers. I think her personal life is just that, personal, but when you depict yourself as heterosexual in your videos and songs, it is fraudulent.

Alicia is talented beyond measures, nice to see someone with ACTUAL talent on here. Never thought I'd see the day X17, I'm so proud.. sniff,sniff. Good for her, she didn't rush into making movies and I hear she "ACED" her role in this one. I can't wait to hear her next album. I literally have nuthin bad to say about this girl! And that just makes me LOVE her even more!

No way, I totally thought that was Elizabeth Berkely with dark hair doing a promo for Show Girls 2. But now that i know it's Alicia, wow, much much better.
I'm not hating on Alicia but her braids give her that unique styler/character that she is known for. She looks very average without them. I don't think she looks that great.

Braids & jeans definately...she looks 40 in those pics.
