Taylor Swift Beats Out Beyonce For Album Of The Year But Queen B Wins A Record SIX Grammys!

Although Beyonce beat out Taylor Swift for Song of the Year ("Single Ladies") and Best Female Pop Vocal of the Year ("Halo"), Taylor Swift took home Grammy's biggest prize, Best Album of the Year for "Fearless".
"My family is freaking out in the living room right now," Swift said as she accepted her prize. "This is the story we'll be telling our grandchildren; In 2010 we took Album of the Year."
Both Swift and Knowles lost out on Record of the Year to The Kings Of Leon, for their track "Use Somebody."
But even though Swift took home the big win at the end, Beyonce, who won four Grammys on the pre-telecast, tied the record number of wins for a female performer with a total of six. (Lauryn Hill, Alison Krauss, Norah Jones, Alicia Keys and Amy Winehouse have all won six Grammys). But B's total take is up to 16 Grammys Awards and THAT's a real record-breaker!

ok - Taylor Swift is not that great a singer so its obvious that these awards aren't based on talent but popularity. Lady Gaga is a great singer who has an amazing voice. Beyonce is ok but when she hits some of those notes its like nails on a chalkboard - highly over rated in my opinion. Pink rocks ! she too has an amazing voice. thank god Britney Spears didn't win anything b ecause she didn't deserve to - she has no talent so thank you Grammy's for recognizing that!

Actually the record for Most Wins by a Female in one night is 5 which was held by Alicia,Allison,Norah,Amy,Lauryn and Beyonce in 04
However after winning Song of the Year Beyonce set another record for being the first and only Female to win 5 in one night twice(2004 and 2010)
THEN she won Female Pop Vocal Performance her 6th of the night and she broke her own record and set a new one
meaning the record was 5 in one night but last night Beyonce became the first to not only win 5 in one night twice but also became the first and only to win 6 in one night
also Beyonce is the 3rd or 5th female with the most grammys i think and the 9th person overall with the most Grammys
