Beyonce has partnered with Pepsi for a whopping $50 million paycheck! The brand ambassador deal includes traditional promotional appearances and endorsements, as well as the beverage company's investment in some of the singer's creative projects. The Grammy winner has been involved with Pepsi since 2002.
The "Love On Top" singer's first project for her new gig will be a new TV spot for the brand, followed by her performance at the Super Bowl 2013 halftime show, which Pepsi is sponsoring. The advertising campaign is supposedly timed to coincide with the release of her album early next year.
As if all that wasn't cool enough, Bey's face will be featured on limited edition Pepsi cans!
"Pepsi embraces creativity and understands that artists evolve. As a businesswoman, this allows me to work with a lifestyle brand with no compromise and without sacrificing my creativity," Knowles said in a statement.
The cola brand is no stranger to celebrity partnerships! They struck a $5 million deal with Michael Jackson in 1983, which shattered the records for a celebrity endorsement deal at the time.
