Beyonce Explains Why She And Jay-Z Waited To Get Pregnant

Beyonce is opening up to the latest issue of Harper's Bazaar about her newly famous baby bump, and her 10-years-in-the-making relationship with hubby Jay-Z.
The 30-year-old singer says she and Jay needed time to create a foundation for themselves before they could bring a baby into the world. She says:
- "We focused three years on our marriage and found that it brought us an even stronger bond and connection. ... If you are with the right person, it brings out the best version of you."
We can't believe the couple has been together 10 years already (they married in 2008)! Beyonce also explains why it was important to her on a personal level to wait for baby. "It was important to me that I gave myself time to focus on becoming the woman I want to be, building my empire, my relationship, and my self-worth, before I became a mother," she says.
And when she did get pregnant, why the big fuss over the baby bump reveal? "I put a lot of thought into how I wanted to unveil it," she says. "It was important to me that I was able to do it myself." Beyonce admits that she considered 70 gowns before deciding on the orange frock she chose for the MTV Video Music Awards in August.
The singer revealed Monday that she is due in February.
The singer also talks to the mag about her newfound maturity at 30, saying:
- "I am finally at the stage in my life where I am not so concerned with other people's opinions about my life decisions. It is so liberating to really know what I want, what truly makes me happy, what I will not tolerate."

It's a 'surprise' pregnancy..when u deliberately plan to have a baby you plan to plan to leave the spotlight for a bit gracefully. Beyonce is having a hard time accepting that and since she found out about her pregnancy, she is going against her career-long principle of keeping her private life private.
