Beyonce And Jay-Z "In Heaven" After Birth Of Daughter Blue Ivy

New parents Beyonce and Jay-Z have finally broken their silence on the birth of their daughter, Blue Ivy Carter!
The music moguls released a statement on Monday, after welcoming baby Blue two days earlier at the Lenox Hill Hospital, in NYC. Bey also took the time to dispel rumors that her baby was born via C-section, confirming she chose to have a "natural" birth.
The couple said in a statement on Jay-Z's Life and Times website:
- "Hello Hello Baby Blue! We are happy to announce the arrival of our beautiful daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, born on Saturday, January 7, 2012. Her birth was emotional and extremely peaceful, we are in heaven. She was delivered naturally at a healthy 7 lbs and it was the best experience of both of our lives. We are thankful to everyone for all your prayers, well wishes, love and support."
After the birth of his daughter, Jay-Z immediately hit the studio to record a new track, "Glory," which reveals, for the first time, the couple's struggle to conceive, and the happiness they feel after finally having a baby.
The track also features the two-day-old little girl crying in the background, which could be considered her first musical recording! No doubt Blue Ivy Carter will grow up to be a superstar.
Congrats Bey and Jay!
We can't wait to see the first pix of the most "beautiful girl in the world," according to Beyonce's little sis, Solange.

Regardless, of what we think of the child's name, all that matters is that she & her parents are healthy & happy. And I agree did people not see when Beyoncè was in a bikini with a full belly? I don't believe she used a surrogate, but everyone is entitled to their opinion. It's her private business if she did, & we have no right to judge. If you are sick of hearing about them, then don't read the post. Just skip over it as I do when I don't choose to read an article. No need to be negative with your comments. And while "Blue" is different, in the circle & lifestyle this chile will be raised in due to who her parents are, it probably won't be odd at all. She'll have to be protected until she's older just like all celebrity kids & won't be in the "normal" every day joe environments that we will.
