Last night Beyonce Knowles and husband Jay-Z dined at Cipriani in NYC, and the couple looked delighted to celebrate the release of his new memoir, Decoded. The book hits stores today, and it documents the rapper/music mogul's rise to fame and all the hardships he faced as a youth growing up in the Bronx.
Jay-Z writes, "I lost people I loved, was betrayed by people I trusted, felt the breeze of bullets flying by my head. I saw crack addiction destroy families -- it almost destroyed mine -- but I sold it, too. Guns were easier to get in the 'hood than public assistance. There were times when the violence just seemed like background music." Sounds like it will be a very interesting read!
Beyonce and Jay-Z exited the restaurant separately, but Beyonce didn't seem to mind -- after all, one peek at that massive engagement ring on her finger and it's clear that these two are a very committed couple.
But when will there be a baby on board?
