An estimated 150 Academy Award nominees gathered for the annual luncheon held in their honor at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Monday, but it was Best Actor noms George Clooney and Brad Pitt who stole the show!

Clooney, who looked dapper in a dark silver suit, is expected to win the Best Actor nod for his role in The Descendants, but he says his favorite part of awards season is getting to hang out with old friends.

"A lot of people at home think we all hang out together. I think they think we're always at the Hilton drinking champagne. The truth is I hadn't seen Brad in about a year" Clooney told reports at the luncheon. "So it's fun to catch up, and it's fun to see people I like and haven't seen in a long time."

The Moneyball star also joked with reporters of his old pal, saying, "I met this guy named George. G-g-george, Jorge Clooney. Very nice guy. Very personable and very nice guy."

Meanwhile, Best Actress nominee Michelle Williams looked pretty and sweet in a 60's-inspired shift dress from Victoria Beckham's new line, "Victoria," which perfectly complimented her cute pixie 'do.

Brad Pitt was snapped arriving at the Academy Award Nominees Luncheon at the Beverly Hilton just now, and earlier in the day we spotted the Moneyball star leaving the NPR building in LA.

Brad pre-taped an interview with Charlie Rose for CBS This Morning, and the 48-year-old actor chatted about how being a dad and adopting a more domestic lifestyle has impacted his movie career.

"Family has added everything to it," he says. "In a strange way, if I look at the work, the work has gotten better because I worry less about it - I mean it's not as important as family. Family becomes the nucleus, the source of joy and the source of worry. And it takes any pressure of self-absorption you've -- we can have in our business, and it just evaporates. So it makes it freer."

Funny, because we think his acting has gotten better and better over the years! Think he'll win the Oscar for Best Actor later this month?

Brad Pitt made an appearance on Monday's broadcast of CBS This Morning, and not only did the actor talk about his Oscar nomination for Moneyball, but he also dished a few deets on his relationship with Angelina Jolie!

Jolie has raised 6 kids and she's been a United Nations ambassador for over a decade, but Brad insists she's still the wild woman who stole his heart back in 2005. “She’s still a bad girl,” Brad said with a grin. “Delightfully so. Forget the Super Bowl!

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie skipped out on the big game festivities to treat 3-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox to a matinee showing of Lady and The Tramp at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, on Sunday afternoon.

The darling twins beamed with excitement as they headed into the theater with their A-list parents, and bodyguards in tow, while Maddox, 10, Pax, 8, Zahara, 7, and Shiloh, 5, stayed at home.

It has recently been reported that the Oscar winner is pregnant with her second set of twins, and while the couple has yet to confirm the news, Jolie did tell Marie Claire in December, “Nothing planned at the moment, but we just don’t know. I could end up pregnant.”

Only time will tell!

Brad Pitt appears on an upcoming episode of Inside The Actor's Studio, and the father of six reveals that he has some unconventional parenting methods when it comes to getting his kids out of bed in the morning.

Pitt told host James Lipton, "Listen, I admit there’s times like, 'We gotta get up. Get up! Here’s your shoes. Here’s your shoes. Drink this Coke. Drink this Coca-Cola. Drink it all. Right now! Drink it! Drink it! Drink it!' Just so we could get ‘em up and going."

While we're hoping Brad is joking about this, his kids' eating habits have received a fair amount of press over the years. On several occasions Angelina Jolie has been spotted with the kids at McDonald's, and we've also snapped them at In 'N Out, Baskin Robbins and a handful of other fast food joints.

Neither Brad nor Angelina have commented on their kids' love of Happy Meals and Cheetos, but Brad's latest comment has us wondering if the family needs to sit down with a nutritionist!

Brad Pitt and ladylove Angelina Jolie looked gorgeous at the Screen Actors Guild awards Sunday night, but on Saturday night, the A-list twosome opted to skip the Director's Guild Awards ... instead hitting up Cirque Du Soleil's "OVO" at the Santa Monica Pier with their kids.

Whether Brad and Angie will tie the knot has been a topic on everyone's mind. The Moneyball actor recently told CBS Morning News:

"We're getting a lot of pressure from the kids. It means something to them. They have questions when their friends' parents are married and [they want to know] why is that?"

Pitt recently told the Hollywood Reporter that they wouldn't tie the knot until gay couples could legally be married. He said:

"We made this declaration some time ago that we weren't going to do it till everyone can. But I don't think we'll be able to hold out. It means so much to my kids, and they ask a lot. And it means something to me, too, to make that kind of commitment."

Angelina Jolie oozed sex appeal in a low cut 70s-inspired Jenny Packham gown, paired with House of Lavande jewels, Gucci shoes, and a matching Louis Vuitton clutch, while Brad Pitt looked dapper in a Balenciaga by Nicolas Ghesquiere tuxedo, at the Shrine Auditorium in LA, on Sunday.

Pitt is nominated this year for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role, for his work in Moneyball, and proud partner Angie gushed to reporters while on the red carpet, “I'm extremely proud. I know what he does to balance his work and [personal life]. I know how hard he works to be getting this recognition.”

Unfortunately Jean Dujardin took home the Outstaring Actor Award tonight for his role in The Artist, but your're still a winner in our eyes, Brad!

Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and the kids attended the Cirque du Soleil show "OVO" at the Santa Monica Pier Saturday night while Brad's ex, Jennifer Aniston, was at the Directors Guild Awards with her new man Justin Theroux.

No doubt Brangelina were invited to the prestigious awards show but to avoid a potentially awkward run-in with Jen, the couple decided to skip the event and spend the night out with the kids.

Brad didn't exactly dress up -- he wore a jumpsuit, reminiscent of a mechanic's look or of a gas station employee. Angelina, meanwhile, dressed up a bit with some pointy black heeled boots and her signature all-black clothing.

Shiloh wore her usual pants and cardigan and was sucking her thumb as she held onto mom's hand. Angelina held Knox in her arms while Zahara was with Brad. Pax, Maddox and Vivienne stayed home -- they saw the Cirque show "O" in Las Vegas earlier this month.

Our photographer at the show last night tells us: "The family looked so happy together, though the kids were a little hesitant as they headed into the big, dark tent. Brad and Angelina get the VIP treatment but they're so gracious and nice with everyone. They're just like a normal family going to see a show; but they just happen to be the biggest stars in Hollywood."
