they will move when the movie is over to a finer house in new orleans. Nice example they are setting to help the people there but they are a little freak in nature. I just hope this house in pic has some kind of backyard for their kids to play in outside considering the amt. of money they both have.

i hope the LaLaurie is NOT the home they purchased. that house has some very wicked history ... beyond what any normal person, i would think (my opinion only ... and I don't get spooked easily) would want to live in. IF that is the house, best wishes to them on it. They are braver than I want to be.

I was in New Orleans a few weeks back and that happens to be one of the most haunted houses in NOLA. It is rumored to have been purchased by Nicholas Cage, although it could be Brad and Angelina. It seems a little far fetched to me, though, seeing as the house is so haunted.

Angelina is the FIRST person I would think of who would intentionally buy a "haunted house" and Brad is an architecture buff who would cream over this magnificent structure. It's perfect for them. I wouldn't be at all surprised if they bought this, but I don't think they are living there. Maybe renovating. Does it come with vials of blood?

I don't believe it. The house is right on the street! The studio pays for a star's accommodations. Someone is promoting it as Brad & Angie's house and the re-sale price just jumped 25%. Anyone who knows N'Orleans knows that is not a location where the Pitts would leave. A person might run a bar in that part of the French Quarter but the Pitts would not live there.

The comments someone posted earlier is correct. This picture is not the house Pitt-Jolie purchased. The house they bought is at 521 Governor Nicholls Street.

I am from New Orleans and I have seen the house in this picture many times. It is the LaLaurie House. It is definitely not Brad and Angelinas new house, nor was it Nicholas Cage's house.

Another thing, the idiots who talk about no place for the kids to play, their house has a huge courtyard in the back (like most of the other homes in the Quarter)

Me and a friend were down there over new year's and we went on this ghost tour.. well we went on a couple and the shitty one said that that house was purchased by Nick Cage, not Brad Pitt. Both could be bullshit, who knows, either way it made for a good story and a few good photos and if the tour guide was about telling lies, the tour would've been 1000 x more interesting.

What a joke this site is. That picture is certainly not their home. I was standing in front of their home just this past Wednesday. Being a native of this beautiful bayou country, I am offended by some of the post here. How could anyone say any place isn't fit to live in, if they've never been or experienced it. Shame On you shallow, heartless folks. I know in my heart, and being, they are in a good place to raise their children, and live like normal people. Ok i live in "uptown/Garden District" and i hate to break it to ya but this is NOT there house nor is it Nick Cage's! If u really want to see brad and angie just go to Drago's Seafood restaurant.... as far as this not being a place to raise a family you really must have bumped your heads. My family raised me here and my husband and i are expecting our first child and are planning on raising our children here.. maybe you should come down and give it a chance before you judge, granted we are known for "BOURBON ST" but thats not all that there is in the quarter. we have wonderful food, hospitality, great schools, and just all around wonderful history. and the comment "hope they bought flood insurance" that was beyond out of line and further more the quarter didn't get flooded. this site is BULLSHIT completely!!!!!!
