This is probably done with his knowledge. BP has sought a life in the public eye and can end it any time. He has opened up his life and gets paid grotesque sums of money and lives a grotesquely privileged life for it. He does things to provoke attention even selling his own children's photos to the highest bidder. Hard to believe there are folks dumb enough to really feel bad for his alleged privacy invasion, or who believe there is a privacy invasion. Have to be trolls. Some of these convenient positive pr stories seem like panic on his part that he's on his way to being a has been. His movies don't do well and people have lost interest.
