Brad's bike has a suicide clutch and a jockey shifter. Regular bikes have hand clutches and the gears are shifted with the left foot. On Brad's new bike the clutch is operated with the left foot and the gears are shifted with the left hand. A bike with a suicide clutch is very tricky to ride in traffic, especially for a beginner like Brad.
