Yesterday we spotted 42-year-old Brendan Fraser leaving the gym in Los Angeles, and we're happy to see him working on his fitness, but remember how hot he was back in the first Mummy movie? Sigh ... those were the days!

So what's new with Brendan? He's set to begin filming Seconds of Pleasure this month, which is a romantic comedy about a group of strangers on a plane whose lives end up intersecting over the course of the flight. The flick also stars Christina Hendricks, Julia Stiles, Matt Dillon and Ed Harris, so we're curious to see who winds up in the lavatory together! Er, right?

So apparently there's this movie called Inkheart, about a girl who discovers that her father (Brendan Fraser) has the talent to bring her storybook heroes (Paul Bettany, among others) to life. Sound familiar?

Anyhoo, the stars gathered in NYC for the premiere last night. It's kind of sad when the most famous person there is the wife of the star!

Brendan Fraser got lunch at Poquito Mas the other day, and based on his behavior, we're inclined to think that The Mummy actor might have had un poquito mas tequila! Ok, so it's really un poquito demasiado tequila, but we couldn't resist trying to throw in a play on words.
