Bristol Palin Earned $262,000 Preaching Abstinence

Bristol Palin earned a whopping $262,000 for her role as an abstinence ambassador for a non-profit, according to the company's tax forms.
The daughter of former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin earned her six-figure salary from speaking engagements for Candie's Foundation in 2009, reveals the AP. Ironically, the foundation only dispersed $35,000 in grants to actual teen pregnancy health and counseling clinics, which means Bristol made seven times what the foundation actually spent.
Bristol became the most famous Palin (aside from her mom, of course) when it was revealed that she was knocked up by then-boyfriend Levi Johnston at the age of 17, when her mom was on the campaign trail. She gave birth to son Tripp in December of 2009.
In addition to her haul from the foundation, Palin also made an undisclosed sum for appearing on Dancing With the Stars last year -- but since Bristol made it to the finals, I think we can safely assume it was a pretty penny.
No wonder the single-mother can afford that five-bedroom Arizona home!
Bristol should also see a nice wad of cash as an advance for her book, Not Afraid of Life, which will hit stores this summer.

The Candies Foundation tax form shows that they disbursed ONLY $35,000 in grants to actual teen pregnancy health and counseling clinics: $25,000 to the Mt. Sinai Adolescent Health Center and $10,000 to the National Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy.
Thus, the nonprofit paid Bristol OVER SEVEN TIMES what it paid to teen pregnancy prevention groups. In addition, the Candie’s Foundation spent $165,000 on advertising, including that awful video ad with Bristol and “The Situation” of MTV’s Jersey Shore.
Remember when Fox's Greta was interviewing Bristol who was saying that abstinence is totally unrealistic....until Sarah burst in to the room putting an end to that interview? Bristol sure learned fast how much dough she could rake in by taking her mother's advice. I wonder what Bristol REALLY thinks about her mother backing up DEfunding Planned Parenthood? I bet she would tell us her true thoughts - - if someone paid her enough that is.

Now grow up and get over it, unless you donated your after-tax dollars to the organization and are po'd about it.
Ever hear of NPR? They say (and dummy liberals believe) they don't get federal (tax dollar) monies given to them...yet they do and NPR big wigs make the same or MORE than Bristol did.
