Bristol Palin Memoir To Hit Book Shelves This Summer
Posted on Wed Mar 2, 2011 01:10 PM PDT
Another member of the Palin fam is writing a book!
It’s just been announced Bristol Palin’s memoir, Not Afraid of Life, will hit book shelves sometime this summer.
Even though she's a mere 20-years-old, the teen mommy has lot to say. Her publisher William Morrow, the same company who published mom Sarah Palin's books, released a statement on the upcoming memoir Tuesday.
The publisher reveals:
- “Bristol gives readers an intimate behind-the-scenes look at her life for the first time, including her family and the faith that keeps her centered. [Bristol will] open up about the media and political frenzy surrounding her mother’s political rise and coping as her relationship with her baby's father crumbled publicly."
Sounds interesting. Bristol will also touch on her experience with Dancing With The Stars, dishing on details including "the aching hours of practice, the biting criticisms, and the thrill of getting to the show's finals.”
Palin recently purchased a home in Maricopa, Ariz., where she's attending Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism.
Will Bristol's books sales surpass her mom's?
While Sarah's first book, Going Rogue became the second-fastest-selling political book in history, selling 2.2 million hardcover copies upon its release last year, her second novel, America by Heart, a memoir, had less than stellar sales. HarperCollins, the publisher, did not order a second printing. Good luck Bristol!

Bristol is a carbon copy of Mommy Dearest. She is TRASH. She does look a lot like Toad's massage parlor lady.
99cent store order 1000 books
I'd buy it if she admitted both Tripp and Trig are hers. And if we can hear more about Palin's affair with Todd's best friend. Oh, and don't leave out the can throwing! Woohoo!
I really dont like this bitch! Please go away!
I hope the commenters on here didn,t mistakenly click yes on whether they are humans or not. After reading their comments, showing so much hatred for a young mother just because they disagree with her mothers political views, just proves that there is a lot of sick, disgusting people out there. How would you feel if it was your daughter? Your sickening comments exposes what kind of people you are...lowlifes!!!
is she old e nough to write a memoir? will this fame whore family do anything for money?

Of course she's old enough to write a memoir. The question should be has she done enough to justify writing one. And that will, ultimately, be determined by the number of people who buy the book and comment on it.
My question is, and not being cynical, is will it be "By Bristol Palin as told to [whoever]" or will it be a ghost written based on interviews, or will Ms. Palin actually write it herself and it be edited by a professional editor. Three entirely different things.
Bristol Palin is a beautiful and amazing young woman and a wonderful mother. I can't wait to read her first book. She has a lot of admiring fans, so I am fairly certain that her book will be well received. I'll be interested, in reading about her experiences on DWTS, as they pertain to her relationship with Mark Ballas, her "lifelong" friend, the judges very unusual and uneven scoring practices and her relationship with some of the pro dancers. I wish Bristol Palin the best!
