I would like to respond to 4:58, even though I'm not affiliated with your mini war of words. I agree with the part where you say she's not happy. but she's much happier than she has been in recent memory. Jamie obviously is slowly giving her small rights such as driving from time to time, and other things to see how she'll handle things. Regarding her album sales, yeah, they're down. But that's not necessarily her fault. Part of that has to do with her media scrutiny, and how people are more interested in her personal life than in her musical style. The most notable reason is that piracy is becoming more and more evident in record sales. Look at any artist. They're record sales are down. and I respect you opinions about how all of you feel about her. What I don't comprehend is why you would still continue to comment on this posts if you all don't like her so much? I mean, everyone has the right to their own opinion. I’m not the poster at 4:58 PM. However I’d like to respond to your comment. It’s perfectly normal for people to comment on what they “don’t like” as much as what they “do like.” Many people on this board “cut her some slack” and wished her well in her recovery. Unfortunately, she used the public’s good will to attempt a comeback which will require more distance from her children. I’m fairly certain she will be criticized as long as she remains in the spotlight.

Sometimes people believe what they are posting but others may not. Frustrated fans frequently say it doesn’t matter what is being written because Britney doesn’t read this blog. I think the fans should be honest with themselves. Technically, you’re wrong about Johnny and Larry (but it doesn’t matter to me). Circus is the final album in her six record contract with Jive Records. You’ll probably be waiting a lot longer than 1-5 years for the next album. I think that is excellent because she has been an awful mother and her children should be her priority. I love music (so I don’t listen to her albums). I believe her fans are too obsessive and demanding. This tour would not be happening if it were not for her fans purchasing tickets.

In other words, she is feeding her ego, the fans are happy and her chidren lose.

I agree that britney has not been the best Mom. But, I'm glad she does get to spend the time she does with them. Thats why I dont want her to tour. And I agree with the fan part. I believe a good group of her fans are obsessive. But, Britney has been more of the "people" person. Britney isn't really "respected" by people in the music industry. There are just things I dont get, like people give Christina amazing credit, both fans and people in the business. Yet, Britney paved the way for herself and for Christina. So why don't people acknowledge that? I mean they both have done a lot of the same things, so why don't people give Christina more fault? I love Christina, but I feel like she has gotten the easy road when it comes to media spotlight. Overall, I think britney has amazing charisma, she's put on amazing tours, she's sold millions of records, made millions of dollars, and even made 2 adorable children. But, right now she should foucs on those kids, instead of on her career. I'd still go to her concert, but I feel like she should spend this time with her kids cause this is time she wont give back.

In my opinion, she has been a bad mother. It’s not meant to offend you. It’s my candid appraisal. I’m very glad she and her ex-husband agreed she is capable of improving as a parent and playing an important role in their sons lives.

Cheering for a performer or athlete from the sidelines can be fun. Unfortunately, some fans were in deep denial and cheering extremely dangerous behavior. It was disturbing to read young fans expressing their desire to emulate her behavior during the height of her craziness. Celebrities live rarefied lives. Usually better role models can be found among family and close friends.

There are some major difference between Christina and Britney which may help explain why they are judged differently. The recording industry and music lovers tend to lavish more praise on vocal quality than stage performance. Christina has a stronger voice while Britney was a better dancer. I say “was” because reviews of recent performances have paled in comparison to her earlier career. The word most often used is “lackluster.” This may be due to a lack of desire to perform, medication or dozens of other reasons. I don't know. The media scrutiny differs greatly because Christina did not court attention from the paparazzi. Britney developed close friendships and dated a paparazzi. I attribute these relationships to her mental health problems. Others may feel differently.

Christina and Britney were both young, single, wealthy, famous women. Christina set aside her wild nights when she became a mother. Britney did not. All women have their fun-loving, wild side. But when we become a mother responsible for young children, it is important we behave in ways that do not jeopardize our health and safety - or our children.

Reports that Britney Spears has threatened to cancel her $100 million world tour have come to light recently. The Circus Featuring Britney Spears, set to kick off in New Orleans in March may not happen now.

“Britney doesn’t want to do it, and she’s telling her father Jamie, and others that,” several insiders have now reported. “All the dates are booked-and $100 million would be lost if she bails.”

“Both her father and ex-husband Kevin Federline are telling her she has to go on for the sake of her kids and their financial future,” source have confided. “Jamie needs this tour for Britney to secure her wealth for her and her children.”

“She is already exhausted getting in shape….Britney feels like she’s being forced to tour. Britney can’t back out now-there’s just too much at stake.”

We hope Britney does continue as planned with her tour! The fans have missed her and are eager to show their support on this tour.

The woman is an entertainer. It is her job. She does it well. You who think she can not be a mom and do her job just don't get it. Her kids are going with her on the tour. We have all seen her as a real person and we know the worst of her so seeing the good is what is worth remembering. The difference between me and some of you is I think the only things worth remembering are the good.

It can only be two ways with Britney:

A: She is really insane and unable to take care of herself like the courts have said. Which in that case it means the people around her are using a heavily mentally challenged kid to make money off of; which is really sick. And also means Britney will have another major breakdown soon.

or

B: She lost her mind from all the drugs and partying, which is her fault. Which, again, means the people around her are still using someone that is now insane to make money off of? And again means Britney will have a major breakdown soon.


Whichever way you look at it, they are driving her down again just like they did the first time she was driven down. They are doing all the same things they did the first time that drove her crazy and almost killed her. The same "teem" are around her again making money off of this mentally challenged individual that can't even take care of herself.

It will be interesting to see what her management (Larry), her record company, and her family (her dad and mom) will say when she is back in a mental ward again!

From all reports that have come out, they all say that her kids are NOT going on tour with her. She also can't take them on tour with her since she is not legally allowed to. Many have grown up with "monsters" for parents far worse then Britney’s mom and dad. They have been abused heavily, sexually, and physically beaten, etc. But they rose above it and have been great parents and lead very productive and good lives. Only if someone is really insane for real, someone that is a real mental case, then they can have an excuse and justify there inability to make sound and rational judgments. In other words, if she really is insane, then the people around her are using her to make more money off of her. And they are using someone that is in great pain and has no real mind of their own to make sound judgments about whet they really want. It’s like using an 8 year old girl to sell sex to the world while putting them under major stress that they can’t handle while they are mentally unstable also!

But the truth is, Britney did NOT have it bad at all. She was never beaten, she was not abused. She was riding in limos and did not even have to go to school. She had everyone around her telling her how great she was. SHE WAS NEVER ABUSED. She was given way too much way too soon is the problem, and it went to her head. She got to do what most kids would love to do, be famous and rich by the time they are 20.

She thought she was god and could do anything she wanted, party, do drugs, have sex with a lot of people, and that no laws or rules applied to her. She then got in to drugs and alcohol real heavy, got married twice then divorced, had two kids then abandoned them, and took no responsibility for her actions. She then found out that the world does have rules for everyone, and that they did apply to her too.

Britney Spears' father has fired all of the singer's personal staff; confiscated her mobile phone again; and ordered her new boyfriend to stay away.

Jamie Spears - who was made the Toxic singer's conservator early last year after a court ruled Britney wasn't fit to make her own decisions - is said to be in shock over his daughter's recent erratic behavior as she struggles against manic depression, so has taken steps to stop her from having another total meltdown.

"Jamie is at his wits end over Britney's behavior," a source tells People. "He's decided he's got no option but to take total control over her life to stop her hitting rock bottom.

"He has fired Britney's cleaners, cook and childminders at her LA home."

Jamie has also reportedly banned Britney from seeing her choreographer boyfriend Sandip Soparrkar.

The source added, "Jamie fears they might do the dirty on Britney. She's annoyed but Jamie is determined to do the right thing even if it isn't what she wants.

Britney Spears‘ dad Jamie Spears is reportedly worried he’s losing control of the star again.

After she was hospitalized twice in less than a month for mental health issues at the start of 2008, Jamie was appointed Britney’s legal conservator in February, meaning he had full control over her estate, social life and medical treatment. The situation worked well to start with - with Britney cut off from bad influences, regaining access to her sons and starting work on what would become her latest album ‘Circus’ - but lately, the star has said the situation is “worse than jail” because she doesn’t know when her sentence will end.

A source close to the family told the People newspaper that Jamie worries he gave her too much freedom too soon - and now he’s pulling it all back, firing her personal staff, confiscating her mobile phone again and ordering her new rumored boyfriend Sandip Soparrkar to stay away from her.

The source explained: “He is at his wits end over Britney’s behavior. He’s decided he’s got no option but to take total control over her life to stop her hitting rock bottom again.
“[He’s fired her cook, cleaners and child minders because] he fears they might do the dirty on Britney. She’s annoyed but Jamie is determined to do the right thing even if it isn’t what she wants.

“She is very vulnerable at the moment.”

Britney is said to have agreed to the continuation of her dad’s conservatorship, which also keeps her from regaining legal custody of her children again, to allow her to go on a large scale tour this year.

BRITNEY SPEARS 'ASK SONS TO SPY ON KEVIN FEDERLINE'

Britney Spears is so desperate to know more about Kevin Federline's new girlfriend, she's asked her two son's to "spy" on the couple.

The Toxic singer - who divorced Federline in 2007 - is said to be so jealous of her ex-husband's new lover, Victoria Prince, she has has told Preston, 3, and Jayden, 2, to report back on what their father gets up to with the 6-foot-tall blonde.

The MTV Pity Awards were different in that it was completely obvious that they all made a package deal with the Pity Awards to be followed up by the Fairytale Advertisement known jokingly as an interview! BRITNEY SPEARS: A PASSENGER IN HER OWN LIFE

Papers were filed Monday with the L.A. Superior Court that have pretty well sealed the fate of one Britney Spears, who from now on will no longer be the captain of her own ship. That’s right - Daddy’s got control, and he’s going to keep it.

Jamie Spears has officially been awarded permanent conservatorship, or guardianship, of daughter Britney. He’ll determine what to do with her finances, career and personal life from now on…until the agreement is severed through death or the court system. Spears now has the legal right to pull the strings on Brit’s life, even to “restrict and limit visitors by any means.”

Seriously, does this sound a little ominous to anyone else?

Jamie Spears reportedly received a raise for his guardianship role recently, getting bumped up to $75 per hour. The raise gave him an income hike of about $51,000 annually. Now, he makes around 16 large per month just to hold Brit’s hand, tell her what to do and in general run her life. Basically, he’s getting paid to take care of his daughter.

Britney Spears was admitted to Cedar Sinai on a 5150 hold (72 hours) as a "special needs patient" which means she overdosed or attempted suicide. She was released within 24 hours and fled to Mexico. Within one month, Britney was admitted to UCLA on a second 5150 hold. Within 48 hours, Britney was declared “gravely disabled.” The UCLA 5150 hold was inadequate to stabilize her condition. UCLA extended Britney’s stay with a 5250 hold (14 days). The 5250 hold was the trigger for the conservatorship hearings.

There's some mayjah Britney Spears tour drama going on behind the scenes.

According to Life & Style, Brit Brit has dumped her longtime choreographers, Wade Robson and Andre Fuentes. The two choreographers helped launch Brit's comeback appearances in Europe, Japan, and on US television.

A source tells the mag, "Wade and Andre were only hired to choreograph the promotional tour for Circus, which ended in Japan last week."

However, that's not exactly true. Wade was publicly announced as the director for Brit's upcoming tour.

Wade has been with Spears since he directed her first ever big US tour back in 1999. As for Andre, he's been working with Spears since her 1998 L'Oréal Hair Zone Mall Tour.

Brit's The Circus Starring Britney Spears tour will now be directed by Jamie King, who just directed Madonna's Sticky & Sweet tour.

The McDonald Selznick Associates Agency, which represents King, posted the following on their official website:

"Britney’s back and going on tour to promote her new album Circus! Congratulations to Jamie King who will be the tour’s director. Simon Ellis will be the Musical Director for the tour."

As for King, he's directed and choreographed several world tours, Madonna's latest, Christina Aguilera’s Back To Basics tour and the Spice Girls reunion tour. He also did Britney’s Oops!… I Did It Again tour.

And as for Wade, other inside sources are reporting that both he and Andre reportedly quit, stating they've "had it".

Sorry to disappoint you, but Britney does not write any of her own songs. They are ghost writers that do it for her. That way the Spears family will get royalties for years to come. You have to have at least one or two songs on a CD that says you wrote it so you can get royalties. Britney is NOT bipolar. There is no legal evidence or documentation to prove that at all. NO documentation has ever been released or come out that proves that at all.

She flashes her crotch over and over so she can get attention since her record sales went way down on her past CD’s. She does not sing but lip-synchs; she now does not even dance anymore. She is under a conservatorship at the age of 27; she is drugged up on medication like crazy so they can control her, and she has lost her babies to a low grade x-husband that SHE chose to marry, and asked him to marry her. She did that 55-hour marriage right before that, etc.

She is now on major medication for life, not because of being bi-polar (which she is not). It's because of all the drugs she took that fried her brain and left her out of control of her own mind. Now they have to medicate her for life to keep her under control or she will lose it again.

It is not likely that she will ever come out of this conservatorship since she has ruined her brain for life. The conservatorship is permanent. She will never be a performer like she was 10 years ago. Now all she will be able to do is walk around the stage and lip-synch.

Just watch her documentary. She says she is unhappy, and that everyone is controlling her, and that she feels like she is in prison, and that no one will listen to her.

She is miserable. They have to give her meds right before she goes on stage so they can pump her up for the performance, but that is not even working, her shows are low key and boring. I actually feel sorry for her; she is in a living hell of her own creation, and it’s for life, and there is no hope for her!

Why should we leave her alone? Everyone has a right to communicate there opinion. It is called “Freedom of Speech”. If you can say you like her, then we can say we don’t. What is really going on here is that you want to believe what you want, you want to say what you feel, but everyone else has to agree with you or they are not allowed so say anything. Talk about censorship! That is very selfish of you, not us.

Britney’s career is based on what the public wants. Some want her, a lot of others don’t. She is the one that lives off the public. If “we” the public are tired of her and some are not, then we can say so. She is a product and is being sold as one (sex, lip-synching, and walking around the stage). If most of the public are tired of a product, they can say so and give their opinion. If they don’t like a product, they can say so. It is everyone’s right. And most of the public are very tired of this product. It is NOT a good product at all. It lip-synchs, it does not dance, and it is defective and broken.

And no, everyone does not lip-synch live. Especially real artist from the past like: Led Zeppelin, Janice Joplin Bob Dylan. Or even a lot of today’s artist. Someone like Mariah Carey or Celine Dion can really sing (not my kind of music, but they can really sing). Britney can’t sing at all, so she has to pretend. If I want karaoke, then I will go down to the nearest club for “fake show night”. So the excuse that “everyone” lip-synchs so it is fine if Britney does it is not true. You are just using a blanketing statement and wide generality to cover up for your lack of understanding of what a real artist is. And to also cover up for Britney’s inability to sing or be a real artist.

All this shows is that the industry has created a really low level crowed of “artists” today that have no talent. And that is not an excuse for mediocrity. People need to push for the record companies to have real artists again with real talent. Artists that can write their own songs and really sing etc.

And with the way her team is pushing Britney right now, so they can have more money, is only going to push her in to another breakdown soon. She is not even ready for this pressure. It's the record companies and the industry that are successful. They have done an incredible job of marketing a false image of her by using her as a sex symbol and Lolita whore. They use her crazy image to make all the money off her that they can, and at her expense and misery. She is not successful at all since she does not create her own art. And her personal life, which is the only thing that really maters, is a real mess for life. Everyone controls her and she has no freedom or happiness at all. There is no success there at all with her, just sadness and misery for life!

Britney can't dance anymore because of her two knee injuries she had. She hurt her knee in 1999 and had to have it operated on. Then she hurt the same knee badly in 2004 and had to have it operated on again (the same knee). If you look on some of the Britney fan sites, you can find high quality pictures of her knee. You can see some really big operation cuts on her knee, three of them, and they are two to three inches long.

You are now scaring me. I guess it is true. Britney has always had very bad luck, and things just never work out for her in the end.

How can you like Britney as an "artist" when she does not even create any of her own art. She does not sing on stage, but lip-synchs.
