Let's see the extent of her "getting better". She never knew what the kids need, what is good and healthy for them, and she never cared. She damaged her little son Jayden's left hand for life. That's when her parents and the Court had to step in and take the children away from this animal and get her under conservatorship. They realized that if she's not capable of recognizing that she is damaging herself, she would much less realize that she's damaging the two beings she calls her "mistakes".
So what, if anything, has changed in the meantime? NOTHING. She still can't be trusted with her own kids without supervision, or with her own life. And she never will be.

There are many degrees of bipolar and two types. She likely has TYPE II Bipolar. It is the lesser one but with it if you have been holding back getting angry and letting it out your whole life when you let loose you are just like the hurricane. Fueled by drugs she was not aware of and drugs she was aware of taking, plus nicotine and caffeine which are also drugs, her brain was running so fast she could not make good choices. I am not saying anything she did was right. But I am saying that she is now much better than before and she is getting better every day. She may relapse, it happens, and I pray she doesn't. As for her children a reasonable person would not have an opinion. A judge made a decision based on his knowledge of the truth. She has a lot of time with her children. That is his decision. The magazine reports that she was recently in tears and upset about her struggles to get back on the top of the music world and the magazine reports that it won't be easy for Britney to prove she's still a superstar.
The report claims that insiders say the singer, who was hospitalized for a breakdown last January, is in danger of buckling under the pressure. is britney really that close to the edge - she certainly appears to look more healthy and certainly has changed her lifestyle dramatically. "Britney is not fully recovered from her breakdown - she's definitely nervous that she isn't strong enough yet to handle the pressure of a tour and comeback," an insider tells In Touch. "Britney is very emotional, very vulnerable and is still battling the mixed emotions and confusion that come with intense therapy."
Britney wants joint custody of sons Sean, 3 and Jayden, 2, which she lost in October 2007. But a judge can't reinstate joint custody without lots of observation - a therapist screened her boys' birthday party in September - and Britney will soon be out of eyeshot. But a judge can't reinstate joint custody without lots of observation - a therapist screened her boys' birthday party in September - and Britney will soon be out of eyeshot. Set to begin in March, her world tour will take her away from LA - and her sons - for most of 2009.
