Bidding is up to $7,200 for THAT ??? And $103.15 for shipping ??? Huh ? Is X17 so cheap that they can't spend the $4.00 to mail it? I hope X17 knows enough to pre-qualify the bidders beforehand. When Debbie Rowe tried to sell her engagement ring from Michael Jackson on eBay the bid went up to one MILLION dollars. Of course most of the bids were bogus. She finally took it off eBay. No one should buy any signed product without a valid COA. They should have several photos of Britney signing the insert and case, holding it up, and offer a certificate of authenticity which binds the seller to the agreement that, if the signature is fake, they must give a refund then some. I have bought autographs of certain celebs on ebay and always gave a COA and had a pic of them signing for proof. Why should anyone believe this site? Not to mention that the shipping of over $100.00 is against the ebay rules and should be reported as circumventing fees. Just know bidders that your screen names will be provided when this auction is over and if you were/are shill bidding the entire auction will be null and void and X17 will have to pay a whopping 5% of the final sale.
And finally it looks like X17 took Rachel's advice. They now put this on the top of their listing:

That is a flat shipping charge. UPS next day air from California to me in the east coast is 76.00 so their shipping isn't that far off. They can charge a fee for packinging etc, so give it up with your over charge claims. Yes it can be sent by usps for 6.00 or less but it's their auction and they can decide how it will be shipped.

Britney’s Drug Test Positive For Amphetamine!!!


Her lawyer is gonna have a lot of explaining to do!

It has been revealed that Britney Spears’s recent failed drug test showed that the mother of two had been taking some kind of amphetamine.

What’s an amphetamine?

Cocaine. Crack. Meth. Speed. Etc. Etc.

An insider from Britney’s camp (probably that sketchy new guy she’s always with) first tried to spin the failed drug test by saying that it was Provigil which may have been detected. But Provigil would not show up on a court-ordered drug test unless they were specifically looking for it.

Now, Unfitney’s camp is changing their tune and saying that the drug that showed up may have been Albuterol, an asthma drug. It has been reported that Britney does not have asthma but she merely uses inhalers as an appetite suppressant.

Albuterol, however, is not an amphetamine, and the class of drug that showed up on Spears’ failed drug test is an amphetamine.

Kevin Federline's attorney told E! News Monday that, because it's Veteran's Day, he'll have to revisit whether to call for an emergency hearing regarding Spears' decision last week to plow through a red light while her children were in the car, rather than wait it out with the paparazzi.

While some reports placed lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan in court as soon as Wednesday, he wouldn't comment except to say that he would look into the matter on Tuesday.

The (very) gainfully employed counselor, who last month successfully petitioned the court to have Spears cut a check for $120,000 in attorneys' fees, also said that he didn't have any further info about Spears' recent drug tests in light of several published reports that one of them came back with a false positive.

During a hearing Thursday, Spears' legal camp stated that the Blackout artist had showed up for 10 tests and passed every one, while Kaplan maintained that she only made herself available for 6 out of a scheduled 14 requested tests.

Spears attorney Anne Kiley also suggested that her client be allowed six hours to present herself after the court calls for her to be tested, but L.A. Superior Court Commissioner Scott M. Gordon said that the current one-hour prep time would remain in place.

And now, there's this vehicular infraction.

Several paparazzi agencies on Friday published video and still images of Spears making a turn into oncoming traffic—possibly while texting. The apparent infraction came hours after the custody hearing and while Spears' court-appointed monitor was in the car.

Gordon was already scheduled to rule Nov. 26 on a request from Kaplan that the 25-year-old multitasker be prohibited from chauffeuring her sons, and this latest alleged development can only add more fuel to the privilege-slashing fire.

I was thinking about bidding on it because my husband and I give to more charities than usual around Christmas time. I wrote to X17 through ebay to ask if this comes with any COA. Their response was it did not and their proof of authenticity was their word that ebay had called Britney's people, who informed ebay it is Britney's signature. To give you an idea oh how bad it tanked, consider this. The Eagles album, which opened at #1 with over 700k copies sold, dropped down to #4 selling about the same as Britney sold last week at #2. If Britney’s album would have been released this week, it would have come in #5, so I’m sure the release date was changed in order to secure her a top spot while nobody big was releasing anything else.

Anyway, I don’t think she deserves success…..primarily because she clearly doesn’t want it nor could she give two shits about it. Sellers place the weight of package into ebay and how it will be shipped. Ebay then calculates cost for each buyer. This is probably a 2 pound package. Even 1 oz over a pound is considered 2 pounds.

On top of the shipping fee there is insurance and signature.

I've been a power seller for 6 years. Yes everyone can and usually do add a handling charge. The charge I get is 103.00 on the auction page and the UPS site it is 83.53 Add insurance, confirmation and return signature with a handling fee and that is an accurate shipping charge.

You are a seller, you are very aware of charge backs so the return signature is needed and isn't free.

9:12 UPS is giving me a quote of $80.97 for next day air early am which would be 9am. It would be $47.77 for just next day air, which would arrive at 10:30. The auction is stating it will be shipped next day air, not next day early am. That would mean the auction's price is $60 over the UPS price for me.
