BREAKING NEWS - Britney's Trial Underway

A jury has been seated in Britney's misdemeanor driving without a license trial. Four men and eight women have been chosen as jurors.
The case stems from an incident in the summer of 2007 when Britney side-swiped a parked car. At the time, she had a Louisiana driver's license, but not one issued by California.
This morning Britney's attorney J. Michael Flanagan asked potential jurors what they thought of the pop star. He asked them to rate her on a zero to ten scale with zero being "a train wreck" and ten being "talented." The majority of the jurors selected had a neutral opinion of Spears.
At one point, Flanagan asked a potential juror if she believed Britney had led "an unlawful life?" The juror responded, "Did you mean 'awful' life?"
One juror was dismissed after he described the trial as "a waste of time."
Testimony is expected to begin this afternoon with a representative from the DMV and a photographer who witnessed the incident taking the stand.

This is crazy, a trial for that ? I mean, with all the things going on in the us, they spend money for that ? How many people actually go to california with a valid licence from another state ? They're crazy.
1) She doesn't have a criminal history. 2) This is her first offense. 3) The prosecutor and judge are assholes for letting this go to trial. 4) Britney and her atty. are idiots for not accepting the plea deal. She's gonna lose.
Everyone else would have showed they now have a valid CA id and that would be it. If she took the plea deal she would have gotten 1 year of probation. That is crazy, 1 year of probation for that! If she took it and did one little thing wrong it would mean jail. That is stupid. This is a waste of Tax Payers Money and Time. She is being punished for being a celebrity.
