Someone please explain to me why she has not been found in contempt of court and put in jail for not following through on a COURT ORDER??? If this one was ordinary person and they refused to undergo a court order they would be arrested and put in jail until they complied with the order. The problem for Britney is that judges like to see people making an effort and at least trying to comply with court orders. So far, she's refused to do this. It seems like she isn't making any effort to work with the judge at all. She's blown off court orders and wouldn't even put in an appearance at a vital custody hearing.

None of the judge's orders have been unreasonable and she's refused to cooperate. She has an uphill battle. The only thing in her favor is that judges really don't like to separate children from their mother. But I think the mental heath evaluation will be a major stumbling block. She's clearly disturbed and the judge has to put the best interests of the children ahead of Britney's demands.

That seems to be the big problem here. This process isn't about Britney and what she wants. It's about her kids and what is best for them. I don't think she understands that. And the fact that she refuses to have the 730 evaluation indicates to me she knows she's unstable. She just doesn't want to do anything about it.

So she makes it to 1 depo, 50 minutes late, no less and can't sit for more than two hours of questioning. Now she thinks she is entitled to visits? And some of you think she could even possibly take care of them? She has approximately a two hour attention span, NO she should NOT have her children for any length of time. She needs to just go away. For good.

Supervised visits are actually very harmful for kids. These kids need consistancy and to be put FIRST.
Theraputic visits for Britney should be taking Dr. Drew up on his offer of help in Pasadena and disappearing until she can function as a human being.
I have seen homeless street corner prostitutes on crack in the court get help and do more to get their children back than Britney. She has no excuses. She has all the money and resources in the world to get her life together.
I have said it before, get help, wear proper clothes, live in one house, have the house as a REAL home for kids with toys, buy a car fit for children and learn to be a parent and only go out on the night you do NOT have your kids. It's quite simple.

Well, here's a perspective. I never wanted kids. I had a great career and was selfish beyond belief inhow I wanted to live my life until, surprise, my husband and I had an unexpected child on the way. My pregnancy was horrible needless to say. I was sick the whole entire pregnancy and had to be on bed rest from the 4th month until I gave birth. The moment our daughter was born and we laid eyes on her, everyting about us changed. We were no longer selfish and didn't have that desire anymore. Everyting in our life became about our daughter to the point of figuring out how to make it financialy so I could stay home and raise her.
I don't regret any of it and if it weren't for her we would have never grown up.
That's what becoming a parent is about. It is realizing that something is more important than you and you are responsible for such precious gift. There is very little room for such huge mistakes in parenting. Sure e all ake mistakes but the mistakes already made by Britney will never be changed unless she grows up and becomes an adult and constant figure in her kids lives. They aren't toys that you an put on a shelf when you are done playing with them to pick up at a later date when in the mood.

HBL - thank you for noticing... wish others on here could state opinions or debate something without resorting to name calling or bashing, it's just a discussion, not like I'm talking about their moms! hahaha I also can relate, I was so not ready for my son at 21, but, low and behold, there he was. And my life changed for the better in every possible way. Everything I do, say, and feel is based on him. He is my whole world, and I love him dearly. But, I unlike you do not have the ability to stay at home with him, although I wish I could be there to pick him up everyday after school. I have to work full-time to support us because I'm the only one to do it. You are very very lucky to have that option. Thank you lucky stars! I work 8.5 hours a day, plus my combined hour of drive time plus cooking dinner, homework, bath time, bedtime. I don't get the amount of quality time with my son I wish I had, but, hopefully he will realize someday that it was all for him. That is what it's all about

He will. We all have to make sacrifices these days. As long as kids have love and support they realize when they get older what parents had to do for them.
What matters most is the time you spend (ie. dinner, homework, bath, bedtime) because it means the most to them to have you there not to mention the fact when they grow up they will wonder how the heck you did it all after putting in long days. They will know that its called love.

I am a single mom - and I delivered my son when I had just turned 17.... My "dumb mistake" days (not referring at all to my pregnancy) were over the day I found out I was pregnant, and like you so aptly stated, there was no room for such huge mistakes anymore ... I had to grow up, regardless of what my son's father was going to be/or not to be - It was my responsibility.... So I grew up. It was never easy - but worth every sacrifice and every minute. I bought a home 10 years ago and am now putting my son through college, on my own. He's a great kid, and I am lucky to have him. I can't imagine acting like SHITNEY does - and it breaks my heart for her kids. I also learned, unfortunately, that sometimes having a bad parent is worse than having NO parent. So when I realized what a bad influence my son's father was and would be - my son and I moved on, and I made up for that loss in his life, with men (coaches, teachers, friends) that would have a positive effect on his life. He is a great kid, and is succeeding in life, despite having one absent parent. It's not how I would have planned it, but you make the best with what you have

Such a great story! I think sometimes, a lot of people don't give moms enough credit. Yes, it takes two to get pregnant and fathers should be around but what some people don't understand is the bond a mother has with her child. We carry the child and there will always be a greater connection between a mother and child. I am not saying a child doesn't need a dad or they can't bond (in case some might miread that lol) but the mothering relationship is so vital and important due to that bond of pregnancy. A mother naturally always protects her child and does whatever necessary to care and raise it.
I guess my problem is, I don't see this in Britney. Largely due to the fact I am sure she didn't get it from her own mother. All the parenting classes in the world won't help her until she has some extensive counceling helping her to heal whatever it is deep within her that is keeping her from being a mother.

HBL - it's very sad - and I've never been able to understand moms that are missing that "connection" with their child. I do however have a problem with people that try to pin their lack of parenting skills on how they grew up.... I did not have great parents (and that's an understatement), but when I had my son, I just looked back at it as - "that's what NOT to do" - sure I've made mistakes, we all do, but everything I did, I did for him - right or wrong. I guess I just don't understand what happened in UNFITNEY's case... why it is that when her children were born, she didn't loose the selfish, spoiled part of herself, and if her childhood was that bad, why she didn't make sure that her kids had it better than she did. She certainly had the money and the support to change things for them.... I think it has more to do with her not wanting to, rather than her not knowing HOW to. That may have something to do with the fact that I don't think she had those kids for the right reason in the first place, so I guess I don't hold out much hope that she's going to change her "mentality" any time soon. I hope I'm wrong, for their sake, but she doesn't seem to demonstrate any desire to do anything to be part of their lives... very sad

What the hell does a "therapeutic setting" even mean? The kids get to see her in a mental hospital? Then she goes home? That is not good for the kids, confusing and scary for them. She needs to do the 730 evaluation that the judge has ordered many times and get real help. She needs it! Then she can maybe see the kids under strict supervision once a week or something.

But this is just her way of getting around getting help. She's sly. This isn't a creative way for her to get help. She doesn't want it. She wants to WIN. When she is ready to get real help and commits to getting better, I think the kids should be able to see her for short periods of time under very supervised conditions. The court should know everything in order to decide on custody.

She's so crazy that personality #5656 may come out and she will deny she ever wanted this.

This is standard operating procedure (SOP) for Britney. The pattern emerges here. If she does a small part of something she is required to do she thinks she gets to win a very big thing that she wants; 2 hours of depo and she wants visitation re-started without the mandatory Evidence Code 730 evaluation. That's Britney.

You have a great point there. I remember an interview (can't recall which one) where she stated she dreamed of being married and having kids. Then she married Kevin so quickly which I always have thought that she did want to be "normal" so she choose the most off the wall non-celeb she could. I think she had high hopes of what marriage would be like and became jealous of Kevin's kids hence she wanted someting to bond to him and along comes SP. SP didn't make her life what she dreamed it to be so she had JJ which as we now see didn't make thngs work. A lot of her prblems are because he could always buy her life yet shedidn't realize that you can't buy marriage, happiness and parenting. It's never a perfect setting and it's work. She's not used to having to work at anything except her career.
Which would bring us to why she spends and is never truely happy. No one can buy happiness they have to make it within themselves with lots of work.

Responding to your morality sermon on the other posting it is quite evident that you have never taken an ETHICS class. In reference to my statement of women going without bras all over the world it is a fact some even going topless. It is a cultural choice to wear or not to wear. HBL - I think, and I don't have any "proof" for this, but I think SHITNEY (I can't call her "BRITNEY" - she doesn't exist anymore, and I don't think she is coming back) fell apart when her relationship with JT fell apart. I think she always thought she would be with JT, and when that didn't happen, she didn't get what she wanted - she spiraled out of control. I think she pursued Kevin - relentlessly and at every expense. I think he was flattered, I don't think he looked at it as his "meal ticket." I think he thought that her "possessiveness"(that stemmed from losing JT) was going to change - and it didn't..... I think she is used to getting what she wants, at anyone's expense - just like a child - and so has no room in her selfish life, to raise children. I think Kevin knows that, better than anyone, and is doing what he can to make sure that his kids are growing up in a healthy, safe environment, not full of chaos (how ironic) and spoiled behavior.

Adiot's interview is a bunch of shit. It was obviously planned by both of them. This whole breakup was probably planned. He says they are far from over and he doesn't say anythng bad about her so far. He said they spoke last night. I guess X17 can quit kissing her ass again.

I can't agree more. I have always wondered what exactly happened with JT since nothing had ever been officially out there except reports of her possibly cheating on him. Se became very trashy after that (Does anyone remember her with Colin Ferrall for pete's sake?). JT's career sky rocketed and her's began to tank. Her Onyx tour crumbled and she clung to Kevin. What disturbs me most is the videos she had for her reality show she had with Kevin. Clearly she was not okay upstairs even back then.

"Tammy Sweet"???? I think the point was, she should have worn something more appropriate to court. Especially in light of the fact that she has already made such a bad impression in the first place. Yet one more example of her not taking things seriously when it comes to her kids

HBL - EXACTLY!!! I thought the same thing!!! It seemed she pursued guys like crazy after that split - that "marriage" in vegas.....Everyone wants to blame her "crazy" on Kevin - but I think it started waaay before then - but no one really paid attention until she married him....... and it became so much more obvious to the world!!! TMZ has learned Adnan Ghalib's wife has filed for legal separation, citing irreconcilable differences.

AzLynn Berry filed papers in L.A. County Superior Court today, asking for legal separation effective January 18. The couple married in December 2003.

Adnan tells TMZ it's not a big deal and calls it "purely procedural." "She's had the papers for a while," he tells us. "This is old." Coincidence that Brit came into his life recently? We think not.

TMZ has learned Adnan Ghalib's wife has filed for legal separation, citing irreconcilable differences.

AzLynn Berry filed papers in L.A. County Superior Court today, asking for legal separation effective January 18. The couple married in December 2003.

Adnan tells TMZ it's not a big deal and calls it "purely procedural." "She's had the papers for a while," he tells us. "This is old." Coincidence that Brit came into his life recently? We think not.

TMZ has the papers online. Brit - breaking up relationships one screw at a time...

TJ - she will do something to be back on top again. She doesn't care if the publicity is positive or negative - as long as her face is everywhere. You're right - it's about 5:30 on the west coast. She's probably just getting up.
