A source tells People.com that's the reason for Brit's trip, but Brit's hotelier pal George Maloof, owner of the Palms Hotel & Casino, would probably like us to believe otherwise ... he says he wants Brit to perform at his Pearl Theater. He tells the mag the two didn't discuss it during their recent dinners together, but that he'd love it to happen.
The report also says Britney's schedule to record with Sean Garrett (who's produced for Beyonce, Chris Brown, Ciara, Usher, and others) in three weeks. A little playtime in Vegas before she's back to work!

Since her breakdown, dad & larry seem to have really cheapened her image...sold her out for free Ed Hardy t-shirts & hats, a no-name gym (seems that contract requires her to go there 5 times a week), she probably only got paid a small amount for her appearances on HIMYM. And I wonder what Mel's paid him in the hopes helping Brit will improve his own awful image? And, I don't think she's had 3 days without being paraded in front of the paps since he took control.

I think dad doesn't want her to look better...we all saw her on HIMYM and with professional makeup she was looking pretty healthy! If I was her lawyer, I'd be going to court almost every day screaming that this had to end...citing the fact that she was well enough to be having meetings with tv execs, music execs, performing under contracts everyday etc and fact that pa was wasting assets with private jets etc, having her affiliate with persons with substance abuse problems and criminal histories (Mel has twice been busted for driving drunk in Malibu and his son once), where her own children play...I wouldn't want him for my neighbor...pa has been taking her to places where alcohol is sold since about a week after she came out of hospital, appears to be allowing her to drink alcohol etc etc.
What she really needs is an independent lawyer and independent psychiatric assessment...no doubt the doc providing the reports is on dad's payroll, and probably getting paid double the rate she usually gets (like everyone else on the gravy train), so they probably don't want to say she's well either.

What I perhaps find more concerning than what has happened, is how everyone (at least on these sites) seem to applaud it, not thinking for a moment that if they win the lotto their relatives might try to pull the same on them.

Yeah...they keep saying how much better she looks...i think she looks pretty much the same...not so great when not professionally done up, but pretty fantastic when professionally done (eg HIMYM)...not unlike most celebs, except the very young who don't need as much makeup. Mariah did just fine after her breakdown, but her parents were far more discrete and didn't exploit her during that time.
