Brit Skips Court, Gets Nails Did

As we reported earlier, Britney decided to bail on her court date today and head to the nail salon and to the jewelry store for a little treat!
So we're just wondering ... was it in Jamie's best interest to have his daughter "accidentally" miss her scheduled hearing? Might he be worried she'll tell Commissioner Goetz how she's being forced to date Jason and how she doesn't want to tour anymore and just wants to stay home and eat Cheetos?
Might it benefit Jamie if his daughter appears to be unable to keep simple appointments, further enforcing the need for his conservatorship over her estate?
Or maybe it was all a misunderstanding with her attorneys and the $500/hour lawyers Brit's got on her payroll forgot to tell her she was supposed to be in downtown Los Angeles today for a hearing?
Well whatever the case (maybe she was just being irresponsible?), Spears treated herself to a nice afternoon out -- getting her nails done and doing a little shopping at a Calabasas jewelry store and at Barnes & Noble (wait, she reads?).
So you go, girl -- thumb your nose at the law and get those rhinestones on your thumbs -- you deserve it!
Brit, we love ya. But how could you mess this up?
