Britney Spears must provide a single, working telephone number to be called in for drug testing, a court commissioner ruled Thursday after her ex-husband's attorney said she has repeatedly failed to respond to calls for the court-ordered screenings.

Of the 14 such calls placed to Spears, she failed to respond “eight times”, Kevin Federline attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan told Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon earlier in the day.

Spears lawyer Anne Kiley argued that Spears hadn't responded within an hour, as ordered by the court, because she was sleeping, and asked that she be given a six hour time-frame instead. But Gordon said time wasn't the problem, noting Spears had lost telephone numbers and changed numbers.

"There needs to be one number that the testing facility calls that she responds to," Gordon ruled. He added that she can change phones, as long as everyone involved is notified.

Federline, 29, and Spears, 25, were not in court for the hearing. After a break, Gordon issued his ruling, adding that he was not going to make any further modifications to existing custody orders.

Under those orders, Federline has temporary custody of Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, because Spears has defied court orders. Spears gets one overnight visit and two daytime visits a week. A court-appointed parenting coach, a childproofed home and car restraints were all written into the orders.

So her so-called Pop career was always a fake. It has always been producers, musicians, record companies, vocal enhancing machines (that fix her voice), and lip-synching in concert to backing tracks, that did it all for her. Since she is NOT an artist, she never should have been #1 with any of her CD’s. Now she has to resort to flashing her crotch, drugs, alcohol, child abuse, and shock and major drama to keep in the public eye since she can’t do it by being a real artist or creating real art. So this is very fair and spot on, good for Billboard and SoundScan for being honest and pushing that no talent bitch down!

Billboard and SoundScan are only showing the truth of the actual sales. If they had let Britney take the #1 spot, that would not have been truthful or accurate data. The Eagles outsold Britney almost three times in sales. And from only “ONE” outlet (Wallmart). Where as Britney had many outlets that her CD was released to the public from and did not even sell the expected amount that was projected by the industry. If Billboard and Soundscan had not changed their policy, then it would have been VERY unfair to all the other real artists out there. Britney is NOT #1 and has not sold that many CD’s. Her sales are quite low and they have already dropped off in sales dramatically since the first day of release. It would have been a lie if Britney had claimed the #1 spot. So this is very fair of Billboard and everyone else to do. It is very fair to the Eagles and anyone else out there that really are selling far more then Britney. The Eagles have sold almost 2 ½ times (711,000) more in CD sales then Britney has so far. Britney has only sold 290,000 copies in the entire week from its release. Compared to her last CD, which sold 609,000 on the “first day” of its release Britney is doing poorly. And her CD sales have fallen off heavily since the spike of sales on the first day of its release. So she is doing badly in sales now. Billboard IS doing the right thing and what is ethical to do. Billboard has revised their charts - allowing records sold at only one retailer to appear on their lists - and as a result, the Eagles officially have the #1 album in America this week having sold well over 700,000 copies of their new CD, according to Billboard and Nielsen Soundscan. This now breaks Britney’s record of always releasing a #1 hit recording. She does not hold that spot anymore.

Britney’s CD, which otherwise would have been in the top slot, came in at #2. Even though Jive moved it up a few weeks so it would not have to compete with anyone else like it was going to do originally (Celien Dion and others) which would have put it even lower on the charts, it still did not reach #1. And Britney’s new CD has already fallen off in sales hard, so it won’t be #1 at all any time in the future. It is also expected to drop from the #2 spot next week. It only reached the spot it did because of the spike in sales it got from her remaining fans buying multiple copies to push it up, and also from not having anyone else except the Eagles to compete with.

In other bad news for Spears, her latest, Blackout, only sold 290,000 copies since its release on October 30th (a week ago). Based on projections, the album was expected to sell at least 350,000. This is her lowest selling CD to date by far. It took a week just to sell 290,000 copies. Yet her last CD (ITZ) sold 609,000 on the “first day” of it’s release. And her CD’s before that such as BOMT and OIDIA sold a million by the end of the first day.

This is Britney’s last contracted CD with Jive (she had a five studio CD contract with Jive). She has been such a major problem and embarrassment to them for the last few years. Her current CD (Blackout) was supposed to be released over 2 years ago. But because of her daily drama and her complete lack of professionalism it’s unlikely Jive is going to renew her contract and keep her with such low sales now. Britney refuses to work on her CD as a professional and show up on time, or do promo, or even a tour, etc. Britney has no manager, no publicists or anyone else representing her since she fires everyone that tries to help her with her career. Jive will be dropping her soon.

Carrie Underwood’s latest CD, by contrast, sold 527,000 copes last week, its debut.
The Eagles’ latest disc, a double CD, is their first album of original material in 28 years. And it’s available only at Wal-Mart and outsold Britney’ well over twice as much just from one outlet!

About the change in their chart policy, which allowed the veteran rockers to claim the #1 spot, Billboard says, “We know that some retailers will be uncomfortable with this policy, but it was inevitable that Billboard’s charts would ultimately widen the parameters to reflect changes that are unfolding in music distribution. We would have preferred to make this decision earlier, but only became aware within the last 24 hours that Wal-Mart would be willing to share the data for this title with Nielsen SoundScan.”
