The State of California is putting a lien on Brit Brit's company for back taxes owed by Ms. Spears in the amount of $24,000, according to Access Hollywood.
The CA Franchise Tax Board will basically take control of Britney On Line, Inc. until the principal and the interest is paid in full.
Why the heck didn't Brit's accountant catch this?!

An individual or corporation receives a notice of the intent to file tax lien giving 21 days to respond. This is not just an oversight as X17 puts it (well, we know their vision is skewed with Brit anyway). No one bothered to respond to the notice.
