If the OK! Magazine story is true.. I'm really sad that she has become that way (as they described). It's wierd to watch old videos of her and think that such a happy, fun loving person.. would end up like this. I know it can't be easy dealing with her whole life in front of LITERALLY the world. Britney couldn't stand Christina succeeding and even becoming MORE successful than Britney while Britney stayed home with 2 infants and a straying husband. She is jealous of Christina and any other young woman who is getting more media attention than her.
Britney filed for divorce and started hanging out with Paris Hilton so she would get media attention. Then she had to COMPETE with Paris for media attention.
As Britney is divorcing, Christina gets married. Britney is a failure in the marriage department. Christina is now not only very successful but HAPPY!! What could be worse for Britney! Even Avril LaVigne gets married. And Britney is alone with 2 kids.

I really don't think that their "allegations" are worthy of the title "crazy" and or a "cry for help." They are hyping this article as her confessional and I have read the article and they didn't write anything about what she said, they are hurting for sales and needed something. Information from Britney insiders? If it is from people still people in her camp (are there many left?), you know the credibility of the information will leave a lot to be desired.
If Britney is just feeding them the story they want to come out (i.e. preparing for her movie roll when she hit van with umbrella, shaving her head in memory of dead aunt), you really have to question if it is true.
The only way would be to speak to ex-employees that haven't signed confidentiality agreements. The fact is that her Mom has some major issues with what is going on speaks volumes to Britney's situation these days.

No word on what, exactly, Spears plans to do while in town, but sources tell PEOPLE she went to dinner at the Country Club at the Wynn Las Vegas. She also made special arrangements to have her hotel room childproofed for the visit.
The trip could also pose some problems for any custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline: Under California law, neither parent is allowed to take a child out of state without written permission from the other – or by obtaining a court order. According to a source close to Federline, Spears failed to notify her ex or his attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, that she was taking the children to Las Vegas.
A lawyer for Spears did not respond to calls for comment.

Finally, on July 20, Spears drew another wave of criticism for going boating with sons Sean Preston, 22 months, and Jayden James, 10 months – without life jackets. (Turns out they're not required by state law on such a large craft.)
Spears, who has no manager or personal publicist and has been without her BFF Alli Sims lately, "won't listen to anybody," says a family friend. "[Her family] is frustrated with the situation – and worried about the children."

Britney flew down to Vegas for the night and was staying at the Wynn, one of Vegas’ most luxurious hotels. As usual, the paparazzi were hounding Britney left and right. One overly agressive photographer decided to get a shot of Sean Preston in the security guard’s arms, but ended up knocking into the security guard (who is holding Sean at the time) in to a glass window. Britney gets very upset and emotional as she thinks Sean hit the glass. The security guard, who is in fact very protective of the babies, beat the hell out of the invasive paparazzo.
Britney got flustered and decided to come home. No lawyers, no Kevin. Just once again, the paparazzi.

After a quiet day of spa time and shopping, eyewitnesses exclusively tell Usmagazine.com that Spears bodyguard Julio "JC" Camera roughed up a photographer outside the Wynn spa after an altercation over the photographer's proximity to - and possible contact with - one of her children.
A photographer who was shooting Spears vacationing with her two children at the resort claims that earlier today, Camera shoved his partner in the chest and accidentally hit toddler Sean Preston in the process.
The photographer then alleges that Spears started yelling while Camera tackled his partner to the ground and began punching. He claims that after Wynn security asked all parties involved to leave, the Las Vegas police were called to take statements.
Sgt. Loretto of the Las Vegas Police Department tells Usmagazine.com that Camera has been issued a citation for misdemeanor battery. Meanwhile, Loretto says that Spears has filed an allegation of battery on behalf of Sean Preston against photographer Kyle Henderson.
Spears' battery allegation remains under investigation, with Vegas police issuing the following statement: "A second Incident Crime Report was also filed by Ms. Spears on behalf of her minor child. In that report it was alleged that prior to the above incident a second photographer, identified as Kyle Henderson, battered both Mr. Camera and Ms. Spears’ child , who was at that time being held by the security officer."

You know, if you asked me 7 years ago, what I thought of Britney spears, I would have said "I fuckin' hate her". That would have been a pat answer, much like I would have given to a question such as "what do you think of sweet potatoes?". Now that I actually know a bit about her, I actually have a somewhat educated answer. As a musician, I have no respect for the music on her projects. As I know some of the songwriters who have written for her projects, I can say that we share the feeling. The music is dumbed down to a point that it doesn't interest me and embarrasses them. That's not Britney's fault, nor is it the composers, that blame belongs to the consumer. As an engineer I can say that Britney is incredibly over processed. Again, not Britney's fault. The fault lies with the consumer. As for her personal foibles, they are definitely Britney's fault. Fortunately, they don't concern me, nor do they bother me in the least. Its her life. I see a woman doing what we are all doing. Trying to get ahead. She may not be doing so in a manner that pleases everyone, but so be it. Her actions cost me nothing. Unfortunately, they may very well cost Britney a great deal. That is the road she has chosen. I hope that road leads her to her destination without causing her, or her loved ones, pain. If it does, again, this is the road she has chosen. Good luck Brit. We don't all agree with the path you have taken but it is after all, your journey.
