I agree the judge is just trying to get his 15 minutes of fame. Any other court would have allowed her Louisiana license as evidence of a license and just ordered her to get a current California license. Which she had already done now. This judge is making a mockery of the court system and is abusing his power. I know about this kind of thing in California. I got stopped in California while working in LA at San Pedro on a government Naval Housing job. I had Texas license. I was in the area for over a year but my home state was Texas. I got a ticket from Highway Patrol. The reason I got pulled over was because my tab for the current license plate had not yet arrived in the mail even though he called it in and he found out that the car had current registration and had it for over a week. I got it in the mail the next day. Anyway he wrote a ticket. I got a statement from Texas explaining their hold up in mailing the tab which is why I got pulled over. They had run out of postage in their Pitney Bowes postage meter for 3 days. I took all my evidence in and the judge said this case should not be in front of him and told the HIPO that he should have let me go with a warning. He said he was wasting the courts time. I showed that dumb cop my work badge and security clearance. I gave him the ROICC officer I worked for name and number. Britney will be cleared on this. This judge will not be able to do too much to her because the law will not allow him to treat her any different which in this case it is in her favor that he does not. Good luck Brit!!! Keep the faith.
