Britney Shoots Her Cover?

Has Britney Spears gone on a shooting spree? Her fans certainly seem to think so - the internets have simply been abuzz with rumors that Brit went in to take the photo for her album cover yesterday! Word on the street says she wasn't alone, either - some folks are saying that she was joined by a male model to give her photos a little extra sizzle! (Totally unnecessary if you ask us - we don't think Britney needs any help to look as pretty as a picture!)
If these rumors turn out to be true, then that means Brit's album's that much closer to coming out - so let's hope they hold water!

I find it hard to believe Britney is going to make any kind of comeback. She funded her own video, so obviously no one believes in her enough to take a chance. That's plenty of time to know a thing about the industry. It is a slap in the face to all those concerned, when an artist decides these people are not worthy of their exorbitant salaries. They take it personally, regardless if they have ever had anything to do with a Spears project. They will do everything in their power to make sure that she doesn't make it on her own, after all, what kind of message will it send to other artists if she is successful in this endeavor? The artist might think that they no longer need to shave millions in royalty points off to them. Trust me, they will not, and are not, going to let her go unchecked. You don't have a chance when you buck the powers that be in the industry. You have less than no chance when your behaviour is as reckless as Britney's has been. There are a number of factors that influence sales and nearly all reside on the shady side. For example. MTV doesn't just play a new video. Major radio stations don't just promote a new single. Retail stores don't just reserve bin percentages. These are the things your staff takes care of. There are a lot of palms that need to be greased. Its not as simple as shooting a video and mailing it out. It doesn't matter how many albums that artist has sold in the past. I wish her all the luck in the world, she's going to need it.
