If you are going to email anyone, I suggest setting up a Gmail account for that purpose. Gmail is directly routed from the internet and NO one could obtain any personal information from any email you exchange! You can look up the information by google search of: email headers about.com.

Better think again on that one. You can use many programs to get an ip from any email account other than one used with a proxy server or an anonymous mail server using encryption. Btw, Gmail is easily hacked. Many businesses have complained to them. Best bet is to go find a good anonymous email service.

Some people have dynamic ip's that change everytime they log on the pc. Some have ip's that are static and stay the same all the time. You ip does only show your internet provider but it can pin down what state you live in, etc. and there are programs that can trace it on a map. Hackers are real and the ip is just the beginning to them. Like I said, you can never be too careful on here. Being anonymous is a good thing in that respect.

I have your same situation, 2 desktops and 1 laptop. My ip's are all the same minus the last number. I am using a router to connect all three of them on a home networking system. I'm not sure about your situation. That seems really odd to me. Maybe someone else knows. As for viruses, I'm sure you have Norton's or another good program. I set mine to run everyday at 8 in the morning with updates and a scan. I'm pretty much virus free. Spyware the same thing. I use AVG.

If anyone needs a gopod firewall, Comodo is very good and FREE. It updates regularly and it is much better than just the Windows regular firewall. It's very similiar to Zone Alarm.

If you notice in the thread where they are talking about the boots, Im posting anonymous...because by the time the next day rolled around I was so paranoid...and then who would have thought? I know Eck tells me this woman that talked about the shoes is a real woman, but how did she post some of the stuff I bought off ebay? I'll never know. Anyway because of what had happened the night prior (in the march 17th thread someone posted information that i can say, on my LIFE, was personal information of mine) So by the time the NEXT night came around and the woman was talking about shoes, I was already paranoid because someone had posted personal info the night before. So when someone started posting stuff that was the same as mine and saying 'oh you KIDS can't afford this' I guess i flipped my lid...i still think its very strange she described my items.

I bought a lot of toye on ebay before Christmas and one lady that I bought something from never sent it to me and I had paid for it. She wouldn't answer my emails through ebay on when the item would be sent, so I had to file a dispute, then about 3 days before the dispute went through, she sent the item and I gave her a negative on feedback (nothing bad, but it took 21/2mths to get my item) and she started sending me nasty emails for 2 weeks about how she would make sure no one sold to me again. I had to turn her into ebay to make her stop harrassing me.

In other Brit news, TMZ reports her new lawyer has filed papers challenging the legal fees she has to pay KFed. Her lawyer claims he lied about his income and hid a bunch of personal expenses.

According to the legal papers, Federline grossed $544,074.73 from his production company, "Gooseneck Productions" in 2007, and his expenses totaled $841,128.67. Phillips says Federline's so-called business expenses included "extraordinarily high tips for food and beverage services [e.g., $1,100.76 tip on $2,782 bill; $200 tip on $371.29 bill; and $2,000 tip on $365 bill].
