Britney Spears Trades $90K Engagement Ring For Simple Sparkler

Britney Spears went on a shopping spree at Sogno in Woodland Hills on Monday, and the 31-year-old pop superstar showed off a noticeably smaller sparkler on her left ring finger.

Just last week it was reported that Brit returned her $90,000 3.5 carat ring Neil Lane engagement ring to former fiance Jason Trawick, and less than two weeks ago she confirmed that the duo had ended their three year relationship.

Of course, the split doesn't seem to be getting Britney down! She's been stepping out quite a bit more these days, dressing up (well, for her!) and driving herself around town with a smile on her face, and now that she's no longer a judge on X Factor, she has plenty of free time to shop! And is it just us, or has the mother of two slimmed down a bit?

According to several websites, Brit is reportedly in "deep negotiations" with three different Las Vegas hotels for headlining show that would have her performing 5 nights a week. Perhaps she's looking to vamp up her wardrobe? Whatever the reason for her retail therapy (and outfit change), we're happy to see the pop princess in such a good mood!
