Report: Britney Wants To Postpone Tour, Feels She's Not Ready

Britney Spears has recently performed her new songs on both Good Morning America and Jimmy Kimmel Live, but now it appears the pop star wants to put on the brakes when it comes to her tour, according to The Sun UK.
A source tells the site:
- Britney has told her management that she wants to push back her concert dates because she's not feeling ready. She doesn't feel she has enough time to prepare and has asked management to pull all her dates and postpone everything until later on in the year. She's a perfectionist and wants everything to be better than ever before."
Brit's Femme Fatale tour is set to begin on June 17 in Sacramento, but now she may not be hitting the stage until later this year. The source adds:
- "She is having to compete with other huge female stars such as RIHANNA and LADY GAGA now so wants to step the show up. Obviously it's gone down like a lead balloon because venues and staff are booked and ready to go. They are trying to talk her round or at least hoping she'll consider going out in September."
Now that Enrique Iglesias has dropped out of the tour, Britney's opening act has yet to be announced.

She should retire.She doesn't sing(never sang),she can't dance anymore,her performances are lame and weak,and her will to continue in the music industry is zero.Her handlers are forcing her to do interviews,to tour,to do those horrible tv shows performances and to shoot music videos.Everybody can see she's unhappy,but they force her to pretend everything is ok,and all her interviews are staged.She only talks about what her handlers want her to talk.
She's old,her only talent left(the dance)is gone and she can't control her own life and her own money.She's unhappy and talentless,and she knows it.
Im glad someone less concerned about making a buck off Britneyy burst this bubble. This move will work on her favour in the short term they figured that paying fans will not put up with her mediocre sh*t anymore..she better postpon eher economic than provoke music critics and fans to dethrone her status Pop Princess. Bcoz of her past title is the only hope and reason for an audience to stay around despite poor performances lately
How much time does one need to get ready for lip singing and throwing a arms here and there?
she doesn't sing nor dance so can't figure what she needs the time for?!
That's probably the best thing for her to do. She needs to spend about 6-8 hours per day, 5 days a week (at least) in the dance studio. She needs her confidence back to be able to bust any of the moves she used to. She also needs some inspiration to find the love of dancing again. When she was younger, it was obvious she was enjoying some part of it at least, otherwise she wouldn't have been so good at it. Her music is about the same level as then, but her dancing is just not up to par. Her body is not up to par and worst of all...her attitude is not where it needs to be. Some day we will read a book about her telling us that after her meltdown, she hated show business, her associates and the media, as well as her fans. She's doing all this just to keep from losing her lifestyle that she grew quite accustomed to, not to mention her alimony payments to her ex husband. I feel bad for her, she just looks so tired and resigned most of the time.

She is right - she is not ready. She needs to get in shape, and she needs to get her dancing up to speed. Now she is wooden on stage, like she has forgotten how to dance. And she has too many extra pounds on her. She should work with Tracy Anderson for 6 months, then go on tour.
