Report: Britney Spears Not Officially Signed As Judge For X Factor

Britney Spears hasn't officially signed on the dotted line for a judging spot on The X Factor, contrary to E!online's earlier report that the pop star had joined the show alongside Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid.
Early last month, X17online reported exclusively that Britney Spears' negotiations to be a judge on the singing competition show aren't quite as close as multiple news outlets have been reporting. Our source told us:
- "Things may not be as advanced as everyone is assuming; these things take along time. Anything can happen."
The mama of two is "very close" to signing, however the deal hasn't been sealed, according to TMZ.
Reportedly, Fox is planning to have the deal done by Monday ... with the hopes of making the official announcement at the Upfronts in NYC.
