It's obvious that the jury is duly considering finding Shitney guilty or else they would have returned a verdict by now. Hopefully, she'll be forced to do some real jail time...she needs to realize that she's NOT above the law. Imo, the small fine, 1 year probation and delaying her tour would have been smarter than risking Hilton-esque jail time.

If the jury convicts, I wonder whether the c-ship will be extended while they appeal the verdict. I don't think she can't be jailed while the c-ship is in effect.

You dumb asses - even if she gets charged she isn't going to get jail time, this is her FIRST offense and 6 months in jail is the MAX sentence. The most she's gonna have to do is probation and pay a fine. But the haters should hold their breath, especially since they're hoping for the slammer, cause it isn't gonna happen and maybe YOU all might disappear!!!!!

Accountable? Please, there are millions of people who are caught without a valid driver's license and don't even have to go to court. This trial is a joke.

i know people who have have valid ID's or driver's licenses from other states. most wait until it expires and get a new one in the state they live, but i know a few people that have gone to their home state to renew it... and their car tags too. i think as long as she has a valid driver's license, who cares what state it's from?
