Britney Spears is on the cover of every major magazine this week/month, and each one tells a different side of the pop star's personal and professional life.
As if seeing her face plastered on all the December/January glossies wasn't enough, there seems to be a battle intensifying between Britney, Kevin Federline and (here's a shocker!) the print publications themselves!
- Exhibit A: Britney isn't exactly praising K-Fed's parenting skills!
Brit looks lovely on the January cover of Glamour, and she gives the magazine a revealing and candid interview, in which she takes a little swipe at her ex-hubby. "In five years I would like to be married and have a father figure for my kids, someone who is a provider and can be really stable," she says. "It's hard doing it on your own."
Hmm, guess we know how she feels about Kevin's paternal instincts! And let's not forget Brit's now infamous Rolling Stone quote on where her boys learned the f-word! (Hint: it wasn't from her!)
- Exhibit B: K-Fed decides this week is the best time to be on a magazine cover
Kevin Federline appears on the cover of this week's issue of People, and while the world's most famous backup dancer doesn't come across as cruel or jealous in his interview, he definitely seems eager to discuss the drama surrounding his bitter custody battle, and the day his famous ex-wife went to the psych ward.
Though Britney and K-Fed's PG-13 media spat isn't nearly as bad as other examples we've seen in recent months (ahem, Lindsay and Michael Lohan!), there's something to be said when a certain gold-digging ex-husband ends up on the cover of one of the biggest magazines the week of his ex's birthday/comeback/album release. We knew K-Fed was a professional moocher, but we thought his days of riding on Brit's coattails were becoming a thing of the past. Guess not.

The Britney drama doesn't end with Brit and K-Fed's remarks about one another - two other magazine covers this week take jabs at the pop princess, and this is where it gets reaaaally interesting.
Star reports that Britney is going to bed hungry and "abusing a prescription drug" to stay thin, while OK! debates whether or not the pop princess is actually ready for her comeback. OK! suggests Britney is being pushed "too far, too fast" and that her upcoming tour is going to be too difficult for her to manage after a five year break from concerts.
Wait a minute, wasn't OK! on Team Britney? Remember all those cute photos of Britney and her boys, or a slimmed down, white bikini clad Britney on vacation in Mexico? Seems like the mag was close to Brit all summer long, but now that she's back in the center of the ring, did Team Britney break things off with the celeb glossy?

Former UCLA Medical Center employee Lawanda Jackson pleaded guilty Monday to peddling confidential information about Farrah Fawcett's cancer battle to the National Enquirer and using her boss' password to access records belonging to dozens of patients, including Britney Spears and Maria Shriver.
The single charge of violating medical privacy law for commercial purposes carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison, followed by three years of supervised release and a $250,000 fine. Sentencing has been scheduled for May.
In March, UCLA fired 13 staffers and disciplined at least 12 others—including a number of doctors—for poking around in Spears' medical records without cause, unleashing a Los Angeles Times investigation into what appeared to be a chronic problem at the hospital over the past decade.
Tom Cruise and Mariah Carey turned out to be among the 1,041 patients who reportedly had their files riffled through, while since 2003 nearly 165 employees have been either fired or otherwise punished for privacy breaches.
Jackson, who worked as an administrator for 32 years at UCLA's various Southland locations, resigned in July 2007 and was indicted in April in U.S. District Court. She and her attorney declined to comment after today's hearing.

I do think Meth has been the problem. Now I feel bad for accusing Ghalib for everything. it apears he did get her home so she could be hospitalized.
The eyes and demeanor of her sons don't lie. They are happy and relaxed with their father. They have NEVER looked like that with their mother no matter how many photo ops were planned. It's obvious who they are comfortable with. Say what you want about the man, he must be doing something right.
Nobody can judge Britney unless they walk a day in her shoes, period. Why is that so hard to understand?

I have read some of these comments and for one thing anybody that says that the only time they have seen those children happy is when they are with Kevin, I have a question. Have you ever seen Kevin? Pictures do not count. How many know Kevin Federline? How many believe everything you read? It is her life and his. No one knows the real truth. Kevin did not step up for free, that is on the records. If he was such a wonderful man he would go get a job. He would work. He has child support for the children but child support from any parent should be used for the children not for the husband or wife. He has hired help that the child support pays for. He should go earn an honest dollar for an honest day of work. He is not a good rapper or actor so he needs to do what all the rest of us do. Get an education or work anywhere and if he did that then I might believe him more. I do not know what he did when she was pregnant with any of his children but I have seen him drunk on one occasion and he was a loner and extremely obnoxious and he was so horrible he was asked to leave the club. He is not good at holding his liquor. That I know. I was there. He is not attractive to me and my girl friends who were out for a ladies night out. He hit on one of my married friends who politely told him she was married and she said no thank you she did not want a drink and he spit all over her telling her he could buy her the club. She excused herself to the restroom and alerted security to get him to leave her alone. He was taken out of there and I guess he left. We did not see him anymore. This was around midnight and the people who he was supposedly with stayed and partied. They did not leave with him even the women who seemed to be into the other males that were with him or he was buying drinks for anyway. That I do not know if they came with him or he just started buying them drinks. But the did not seem to conversate with him much.
How many of you have ever seen Britney? Pictures and videos do not count. How many know her? Probably none of you just as I do not. I see what she has done this last couple of years and I know there were some things that she has had to chance in her life. Whatever happens in the future I hope that they all grow up and do what is right for the children. It is rough when you marry and have children and then you split. It happens all the time. Britney is a pretty women in photos. She is human and she has to put on makeup and do her hair and dress nice just like the rest of us women. When Britney makes an appearance millions are watching. She is an entertainer. I wish her the best with Circus. I also hope that she is able to have time with the children and that she will take come time off after this tour. She is selling tickets so she is going. I do like Circus and I also liked Blackout. I especially like the Circus video. It is well done. If you all want to attack me for telling you what I know about Kevin I do not care. It is the truth. I spoke truth. I am sure Britney is not pleasant when she drinks either. Most of us are not. That is real life. A few drinks can turn anyone into a gross spitter who thinks they can buy nightclubs.

Are you all so dumb you think that the National Enquirer got Britney Spear's Medical file from UCLA and there has not been a lawsuit filed, or an injunction against them from printing confidential medical information. They are going to be sued if this is the case. UCLA would not allow this to happen again. This is false information. The lawyers from all teams would be all over this and with britney Spears exposure in the media theer would be more than just the National Enquirer running such a sstory.
