the income starts low at 10k and u look to the right where it tells you how much support a parent has to pay based on earning 10k a year etc. The higher the amount of earned income for the year, the higher the amount next to it states the monthly amount a person of that yearly income level has to pay a month in Child Support.

If britney makes a lot more money in her cd royalties and perfume sales this year than he has the right to bring a motion to court(Only in 2008 as based on 2007 yearly earnings) to request a higher amount of child support to match the guidelines of her new higher income. Kfed must be laughing his ass off as he knows her new cd will make her more money in 2007 and he can just go back to court next year(around tax time when peoples taxes are done in spring) and request from her how much she earned and get new support payments established based on her new true 2007income again.
