Kate Winslet makes sex scenes, Kate Hudson is known now for being a whore rather than an actress, Madonna gyrates on stage and gets frisky with 20 something year olds, Gwen Stefani bares her middrift on stage, yet they don't receieve the criticism Britney does and they all have kids. Look at frickin Whitney Houston, she abused drugs for years, is a mom, yet she gets right off the hook.

Site after site is reporting the 50/50 custody arrangement that was shared before the start of the meltdown, only the roles have turned. Kevin has sole legal and physical custody and Britney has visitation, those roles were reversed when they were divorced.

For a woman, hell for a person who has undergone what she has, thats a damn good accomplishment.

And regarding votes to everyone on here, FYI, just because some buy multiple copies of things doesn't mean every fan does that. A small percentage of her fans even visit fansites, most just go to her official site and vote for the song at their radio station

Several of us have patiently explained Kevin has sole physical and legal custody. Britney only has monitored visitation (she cannot be alone with the children). She can visit with the children but she is prohibited from make any decisions about their lives including but not limited to: where they live, where they travel, their education, medical care etc.

Kevin agreed to modified visitation while the mother of his children is on tour. The modification is temporary. It is not a custody award. She still has zero custody. She can’t even attempt to regain custody while she is under a conservatorship because in the eyes of the law, she has the legal rights of a minor.

I, and others have explained Kevin’s custody and Britney’s visitation status in the past. I’m not sure if you were here or not. If you were, I’m not sure if you are unwilling or unable to understand a complicated subject. I do know I’m tired of explaining it (sorry). Maybe you would benefit from reading a fan/attorney’s simplified explanation.

First, the words custody and visitation cannot be used interchangeably because they have very different meanings. Second, the custody arrangement you described after the divorce did not exist. Britney never had sole physical and legal custody. Kevin was never stripped of custody and limited to visitation. Kevin and Britney had joint custody. She has not had custody for years (yes, years).

Back to the present, Kevin agreed to temporarily expand Britney's visits (time and dates) to accommodate her tour schedule. Kevin and Britney have not agreed to permanently modify their custody settlement (although they might when the tour ends).

yes, i know that. but her visitation is her end of this custody arrangement, is it not? I never said she had custody, I'm aware that she does not have custody at this time, and I know she hasn't had custody since mid 2007 I believe. What is happening now is basically what I said in my first post. Kevin did have little custody, that was my mistake, but he had to go visit the kids at Britney's house. Britney basically has that now, except she doesn't have any sort of custody over the two children. What she and Kevin share is what basically is a 50/50 custody deal except I believe she has to have a monitor with her when she's with the kids.

You were referring to the brief period between Britney’s divorce petition in November 2006; and the couple reaching a global settlement agreement in March 2007 (the divorce was finalized on July 30). I understand it may look similar on the surface, but Kevin’s 2006-2007 visitation differs greatly from Britney’s 2008-2009 visitation.

Between late 2006-early 2007, Kevin and Britney had a temporary custody agreement prior to the custody hearings. Britney lived with the children. Kevin visited the children without supervision. Most importantly, both parents retained their legal rights. For example, if a child was ill or injured, Kevin and Britney were legally required to make medical decisions together. The only exception would have been a life-threatening emergency requiring immediate action by one parent. If one parent wanted to take the children out-of-state, the other parent had to give consent. And so on.

Between 2008-2009, Britney was placed under a permanent conservatorship (she has the legal rights of a minor), she lost physical and legal custody. She was awarded monitored visitation only. She has slightly more monitored visitation under the new temporary agreement. But she still does not have any legal right to make decisions on behalf of the children. Kevin has the legal right to make EVERY important decision for the children without consulting their mother. Maybe that will change in the future. We’ll have to wait to see.
