Britney's "Circus" Music Vid Is, Yup, SPECTACULAR!!!

X17, you people must be on drugs. Everything about her now is fake and borring. If you look at DVD's of her from years ago, she was great then. You can see a huge, and I mean huge diference from then to now. Now she is a joke.

Well, I just found out that Britney's CD, that was released today, is already not selling well. It is only getting a luke warm reception at the stores. And also, my girlfriend works at a major CD store too and she said they started selling Britney's CD last night (earlier then they were supposed to). But people are not buying it in droves like her label would have you think. She said that people are asking for other artist and buying other artists CD's for X-mass even more.

Brit's CD will probably do well for the first few days though since her fans will buy 2 and 3 copies each. Bur after a week passes it will tank just like Blackout did.

Blackout has still not passed the one million mark in sales in the USA after having been out for around a year now. This CD will do about the same if even that. Britney is over!

SHe has balls for releasing her CD around the time Beyonce did but will fail in comparison. Beyonce is cleaning up and will probably leave Brit in the dust.

Britney fans are now finally realizing it’s over. A lot of them are even admitting it on Britney fan sites, and even on some sites that are not fan sites like this one. Only a few are still trying to scream and yell about how her "big comeback" is doing great. But deep inside they know it's not true.

If you remember, her fans over the last few years have gone crazy each time Britney did one of her “failed” comebacks. There were lots of fans on each website supporting her as if she was back in a big way (which she never was). But now, on this supposed comeback, we are only getting one or two rabid fans yelling that she is back. In other words, most of her fans have left and are not defending her anymore. This comeback attempt has already failed and tanked. And this was her last chance, it’s over!

If Britney can't even do these one song shows well, and she has to walk around the stage and not dance, and then lip-synch, then how is she supposed to do a whole bunch of songs for 2 hours a night on a major tour? She has no energy even doing these one song shows. She looks tired and like she does not even want to be there in the first place. How will she last through a full tour?

The answer, she won't. The arenas will be mostly empty (also, the economy is really bad now). Then she will have another “breakdown” and the tour will be cancelled like her last one (the Onyx tour). She really is over!

I’m a big Britney fan, but I feel the same way you do. I will buy the CD just to help her out. But I don't think I will go to her concerts anymore. The excitement and the dancing are gone now.

Britney can't dance anymore because of her two knee injuries she had. She hurt her knee in 1999 and had to have it operated on. Then she hurt the same knee badly in 2004 and had to have it operated on again (the same knee). If you look on some of the Britney fan sites, you can find high quality pictures of her knee. You can see some really big operation cuts on her knee, three of them, and they are two to three inches long.

And if you remember, the insurance companies would not cover for her when she had to cancel her Onyx tour in 2004. She then had to cover the cost of the cancelled tour herself.

Also, the insurance companies that are covering this tour right now have probably made some stipulations in the contract that she can't do anything stressful on her knee (such as heavy dancing like she used to do) or they will not cover her. She can't dance anymore like she used to and never will be able to again. All she can do now on stage is lip-synch and walk around. And that is not very exciting at all!

I think you are right. She will never be what she was since she will never be able to dance again like she did. She was a great dancer, incredible in fact. She used to do some of the most difficult dance moves. But now with her knee injuries and all she just won't be great anymore. She will just walk around the stage and mime her songs. I just can't get in to that. I'm a dancer myself and that was what got me interested in her in the first place. Her songs from her CD's are just backing tracks for her dancing. But now she does not dance.

Wow she is looking so old and haggard, she looks like she is in her 40's.

There was no Britney Spears documentary last night, there was only propaganda.
Funny that a feature film that was supposed to examine everything in her life conveniently glossed over the parts where she was placed on a 5150 psychiatric hold, flashed the no-no bits, hung around scumbags like Sam Lutfi and Adnan, and was placed under a conservatorship after being strapped onto a gurney -- twice.

Bottom line -- Britney and MTV had an opportunity to help us understand the real Britney. Then again, when a Britney tell-all is sponsored by a Britney perfume line, how real could it possibly get?

Britney on 'GMA' -- Still Sleepwalking

It's a whiz-bang comeback - or at least it's supposed to be -- for Britney Spears, whose new album and birthday and morning TV appearance all dropped today.

But her two song appearance on "Good Morning America" today, hyped for weeks, and her first TV performance since her infamous 2007 MTV Video Music Awards disaster, really wasn't all that different from that mess.

Despite the distractions of the Big Apple Circus setting and the abundant circus themed acts and suitably attired dancers around her (tipping her hat on her entire stage design for her upcoming "Circus" tour, coming to Mohegan Sun Arena March 24), she was still doing largely the lip synching bit and then just walks around the stage (not much of her great dancing from years gone by).

From the sound we heard at home, there was no evidence of live performance in there somewhere from anyone on stage not a single musician or piece of sound equipment visible, aside from her headset microphone that she kept adjusting (Britney, stop worrying! It's not on!).

Even her dance style, especially her second number "Womanizer," was that slow motion sleepwalk stomp that sank her on MTV. (At least this time she has the excuse of having to perform so early in the morning).

I don't want to be too rough on the girl and we can't expect too much from our overhyped pop stars. But singing and dancing are two things we can require.

Well how about interviewing? Enabling hosts Diane Sawyer and Robin Roberts built their whole show around the appearance coinciding with Britney's 27th birthday. There was plenty to ask in the wake of her other glossy magazine interviews or her similarly hyped MTV special. But there were barely two questions asked afterwards. And in one of them, Sawyer had to give the news herself of the spring 2009 tour.

"You're starting at home, right?" Sawyer asked helpfully.

Britney seemed confused. Then she said, "Yes, in America."

Proving maybe she really is an alien (that's how removed her performances with their treated vocals sometimes sound). And in this she seemed to be echoing the Coneheads: "We're from France."
Yes she looked fabulous, if you like women whose pants are falling off (song one) or are falling out of their tap pants (song two).

In a future "Good Morning America," the mutually benefiting Britney hype all but forgotten, Sawyer will anchor a segment on oversexual styles from pop stars having a bad influence on our youth.

Sorry X17, but the proof of weather Britney is back and in top shape is only proved by a “real” live performance. A video can be fixed up to the extreme. You can even make someone that is dead look like they are full of life and dancing great.

We have seen her live performances over the last week, all four of them. And she is not only NOT live, since she lip-synchs while walking around the stage, but she also does look like she is out of energy and dead. There is no way she will be able to handle a full tour with a bunch of songs every night.
