At least Britney's dad acknowledged his problems and got help. Alcoholism is a disease. He is a strong man to be able to live with his addiction everyday.

Britney's parents supported her career even though they really couldn't afford to. They actually filed for bankruptcy in 1998, which I disagree with, because they didn't have to incur those debts. But anyway, she was very supported and loved in her childhood which she acknowledge recently on her website.

Her father has a right to see his grandchildren and Britney is helping Kevin's case for full custody by refusing her own parents' access to their grandchildren.
