Why Brit Locked Herself in the Bathroom


TMZ has learned what triggered the drama last Thursday night that ended with Britney being strapped to a stretcher and carted off in an ambulance.

Unimpeachable sources tell TMZ Brit pitched a fit that she had to attend a deposition in the custody case earlier in the day and she wanted "make-up" time with the kids that evening. Britney had visitation rights with the kids that day. She was supposed to surrender them to K-Daddy at 7:00 PM, but wanted two extra hours. K-Fed and his lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, wouldn't allow it, so she locked herself in the house -- thus the stand-off.

Here are the probs with Brit's theory. First, the reason her depo was set for last Thursday was because she failed to show the day before. Second, Thursday's depo was supposed to begin at 9:45 AM and go until 11:45 AM. She didn't show until 11:32, so the depo lasted less than 15 minutes. We've learned she only had visitation rights that day between noon and 7 PM. The depo ended at 11:45 and her house was only 15 minutes away. So she really didn't lose any time with the kids.

Bottom line -- Brit was legally off base.

Brit Brit was back to her old tricks last night after spending the weekend in Santa Barbara and Palm Desert with her pap smear love, Adnan Ghalib. Kevin Federline wants to stop Britney Spears seeing paparazzo boyfriend

Britney Spears’ estranged husband Kevin Federline has reportedly launched a legal battle to stop the Toxic singer from seeing her new paparazzo boyfriend Adnan Ghalib.

I agree with Kelly. The other night she was going at speeds over 100 mph. She's already had 2 flats, that we know of. Someone is going to be killed. If she doesn't care about her own life, she should care about others. I am furious with LAPD for letting her get away with all the crap she has pulled lately. To the person posting directing anger at all the haters: You say Britney is crying for her kids? Then why did she fuck up every opportunity to keep them? I think KFed is a lazy skumbag who is living off her and unfortunately the way she is conducting herself she is playing right into his hands. You say give her kids back?? Why would that happen considering her current mental, destructive state? She cannot even legally have those kids in her car becasue she has been deemed to unstable to have them with her. And to the poster who asked 'who said she has been driving erractically?' Guess you missed the footage of her weaving through traffic and running red lights and running over a foot or two WITH her kids in the car. She has had two or three different vehicles over the last few months as she is either pulling a hit and run and denting her car or some other stupid infraction. So I hope that defines 'erratic' for you. She is a danger to herself and anyone in her path when she is driving around aimlessly. And on a final note, to the poster who raved that Britney has tested clean every time for drugs..give your head a shake...she missed more than one drug test..is constantly at hotels getting her fix and stumbling out even more glassy eyed than before...she was also on a substance the night the police were called to her home where her kids were present. You are in denial if you think she has not brought this on herself. She has had opportunites to get help and brushed them off..she has money many others dont in order to get the help she needs. And when she hopefully hits bottom completely she will humble herself and let her family into her life again and perhaps she will clue into the fact that she has two kids to raise who are laready probably very traumatized by having her for a mother. She may be mentally ill but her selfishness and sense of entitlement have been imbedded deeply within her for a long time. Its about time she got over herself and started realizing the world doesnt revolve around her and that she has the responsibility to get well for herself and especially for those two kids.
