Everyone's publishing reports of a Britney stalker -- is the fact that some obsessive fan is sending disturbing messages to her in the mail a surprise? Unfortunately, not really ...
Brit's pal Sam Lutfi told X17online last year that the letters and packages she was getting were becoming increasingly inappropriate and that he was going to contact the police about it.
The LAPD say they have not launched an official investigation and the FBI wouldn't comment, according to Eonline.
Sam told X17 last summer that the would screen the mail she received at her Malibu home and throw away most of it.
X17 receives emails and packages from around the world for Britney. Most of them are positive messages in support of Brit but there are the occasional weirdos. Unfortunately, hate mail seems part and "parcel" of being an A-list celeb :(

I think there's much more to the Britney saga then any of us know. I do think the young woman has mental and psychological problems. And many of the medications for these problems cause bloating, weight gain, skin problems. Plus there were the rumors of her drug and alcohol abuse.

"It started about six weeks ago with just letters being sent once a week," a source who has seen the packages revealed to OK!.
"And then it quickly escalated to larger packages that now arrive two to three times a week - always to the same L.A. address, but never to one of Britney's homes."
The packages, which bear a return address in the Minneapolis, Minn., area, have not been shown to Britney since their content is disturbing. They are being handed over to the FBI through Britney's security team.
Typically they contain a battery operated sex toy and two threatening and pornographic letters, one handwritten and the other computer printed.
"The handwritten one is on note paper and it's written in a crazy, all-caps chicken scratch," says the source.
The five page computer printed letter details the writer's fantasy sexual exploits with Britney.

I've been looking through photos chronologically, and as of July '07 there doesn't appear to be any arm damage (at least from looking at photos). For the longest while little JJ always looked on the verge of tears...the fact that he could be in constant pain may explain things a little better... :(

Where I am from, a GAL is appointed (that is actually what I do for a job), to represent the CHILD's best interest (or childrens', as the case may be).
Usually, in a divorce, the parents are so busy fighting with each other, that even though they "claim" to be fighting over the children, the kids get forgotten in the fight, if you know what I mean. SO, the GAL, is IMPARTIAL and only cares about the kids and what is in their best interest. GALs investigate whatever issues the judge recommends and then write a report for the judge. At trial, the GAL testifies as to his or her findings and recommendations. The benefit of having one is there is no bias for either side. The only person the GAL cares of is the CHILD(ren).
Why do these children not have one, is my question?

They really are the BEST things ever for kids.
I thought most states employed GALs. I'm almost positive that CA has them, which is why I'm baffled that Britney's kids don't have one. You'd think in such a high profile case there would be one.
Where I'm from, there are 2 different types - one for custody cases, and one for abuse and neglect cases. Heartbreaking, both of them. I only work in custody cases.
I know EXACTLY what you are describing, when you describe your boyfriend's ex. Sadly, it happens *all* the time when "parents" separate. It's just so sad to see a parent use a child as a pawn. That's why it's wonderful to have a neutral party come in to represent the child. Not only that, but the GAL does a full INVESTIGATION into any allegations the other parent makes to the court. Even better, the judges almost ALWAYS listen to the recommendations of the GALs because they ARE neutral parties.
I wish you luck dealing with situation with your boyfriend's ex. She sounds like a very bitter person!

I think some posters tend to forget that we're actually REAL PEOPLE sitting behind our computers. I also think it might be a sign of age...people around mine and Sam's age weren't raised in the "computer era" in the same way that high school students are today. For someone in their 30's or older, it would be completely unacceptable to make a comment like "DIE BITCH" over a computer, since we'd likely take it as an actual threat...but folks who are younger are so at ease with computers that they seem to think this kind of language is acceptable...

I've been here as long or longer than Jglad. I'm not a Britney fan, nor a hater. I guess I see her faults, but I don't wish her dead and I really hope she does improve. I'm all for freedom of speech and expressing different opinions. I think one of the major problems, is a lot of people just assume they know who is posting and they are usually dead wrong. There are many trolls here, not just one. Jglad's stalker thinks Jglad is all these different posters and works for X17, which I think is bullshit. But Jglad is not innocent in this. She does the same thing, by assuming she knows who her attackers are. Jglad has made about 5 or 6 friends here and they immediately come to her aid and feed her ego. A few of these people are afraid of her. A few others just like having a non-anon to talk to. I do think Jglad takes this blog way too serious and most of her attacks are unwarranted. It's silly for Jglad to assume the responsibility of straightening out the Britards, as she calls them. It defeats the whole purpose of this board. I had to laugh when she put on her evil hat and tells other people she owns them. It reminds me of elementary school. I think Jglad has issues and it's clear she can't handle rejection of any kind. I don't see a solution, unless the whole blog is willing to bow down and kiss Jglad's ass. Jglad gets angry and reacts before she thinks. If you are in her path, you feel her wrath. Up until recently, she may have just been really good at covering up her flaws and highlighting her assets. For instance, she DOES have a linebacker neck, but it totally disappears when she wears her hair down. And she's always had prominent muscles in her upper legs, so she wears short dresses to highlight her legs and take away from her stomache when she has a bulge.

Yes, she did this to me a while back. I honestly had NO CLUE why this "justin's glad" person was saying I was "obsessed" with her. After that I quit posting for a while and just watched the boards. London, Mar 9: Britney Spears is facing a danger of going bald again, for the troubled singer is losing her hair in clumps.
The pop-wreck has long been covering her patchy scalp with wigs and extensions fitted by top Beverly Hills stylist Kim Vo.
However, from what is evident of some recent photographs, even though most of her earlier hair are growing back, there are frightening bare areas on top of her head.
After seeing rear-view pictures of the 26-year-old star's head, many hair and scalp experts have warned that she may suffer from a serious condition leaving her permanently bald.
According to LA-based Dr Maurice Messler, the 'Toxic' star might be suffering from what is called 'alopecia'-a stress-caused ailment.
"It looks like she could be displaying early signs of alopecia. This can be stress-related or caused as an unforeseen consequence of hairstyling routines, such as excessively tight braiding. In some people, it can also be caused by a psychological compulsion to literally pull or tear out one's own hair," the Daily Star quoted him, as saying.
"Some medical treatments, including certain psychotropic drugs, can cause hair loss or accelerate the effects of alopecia," said a second specialist.
Right now, Britney is under psychiatric care and is taking a minimum of two such prescription drugs as well as pills to help her sleep.

The reason I came "on board" with the stalker idea (or I guess you could say, the reason I clued in to what J was saying) was because I started having some pervert follow me around myself. I made a comment about the Fake Bi-Babe being a troll (I said that, "Trolls have shaky fingers and tend to post more than once," when someone made a commment about the Fake-Bi posting too many comments.) I think the Spears women could all benefit from psycho-therapy. I like and feel badly for the Spears men, Jamie, Kevin (by marriage) Sean Preston and Jayden James. Recently, I violated one of Justin’s many rules and said I thought Britney looked healthier. So I know what it’s like to be on the receiving end of Justin’s temper.
Chucky Cheese manages Justin by doling out compliments. I won’t do that. Many of us gave up our names and became anonymous (including me) because Justin‘s slamming is unrelenting. Chucky Cheese isn’t the only one that has encountered the ugly perverted poster. A couple of perverted posts have been directed at me. I didn’t respond to them. It’s easy to ignore perverted posts most of the time except when Justin and her friends battle back and forth with the pervert then it just de-evolves into angry vulgar fighting that’s not worth reading. It’s messed up that some of these fighters claim to know each other. I post to a couple of web sites that require email and a user name. I wish X17 would change this forum to make it more user friendly. I won’t use a name here just to see it abused again. I’m not going to stop posting here but I’m more cautious and will continue to avoid certain people, including a few new ones. Oh well. Remember to spring ahead one hour for daylight savings time.

Thanks! I appreciate the timeline. I’m consoling myself with the idea that half the country is as sleepy as I am this morning. I have a long day ahead. However, I’m looking forward to the gym tonight. For entertainment, a few of us have been recapping the X17 Slugfest details while we workout. It’s been the most amusing, disturbing and thought provoking feature on X17 these days. Last Friday, we were talking about the main cast of characters, JGlad, Chucky Cheese, Eck, the M&M Girl/s and nameless menacing trolls. By the time we began talking about the ride of the cowboys and trying to guess who they were, the woman next to us began laughing and asked “What the hell are you talking about?” It hadn’t occur to any of us how it might sound if someone overheard the names and stories. I laughed so hard I cried as each of us tried our best to explain this place. She asked why someone would call themselves Eck (trust me, it was funny the way she pronounced it). I realized you have to SEE it to believe it (or attempt to understand it). We gave her the web address and she’ll be joining us at the gym tonight. I can’t wait. Maybe her fresh perspective can help us determine whether Coppola's Mouthpiece was a man or a woman!

The reason I called the person a "SICK BITCH" is because there is a person(s) on here who will engage in what appears to be "normal" discussion until suddenly, half-way through the conversation, you realize that they are in fact a troll who is trying to lead you astray (e.g. try to get you to say bad things about other posters, and basically, trying to stir up shit).
Halfway through the conversation above I realized that the person was TRYING to get me to say something bad about JGlad while she wasn't in the "room." And I'm not going to do that. There was another gratuitous cyber hug. Too precious! Did anyone else notice Chucky Cheese and the rabid dog appeared almost simultaneously. Someone thought Canada & New York, is that right? It was hilarious, the rabid dog can’t imagine having one real friend, so three friends online and going to lunch was beyond her comprehension. Chucky Cheese thought everyone was on PST because the X17 time stamp is PST. Best of all, the rabid dog disappeared and the k personality suddenly appeared to spoof posts (big stretch, eh). As usual, Chucky Cheese was all giggles and smiley faces. I forgot to mention, I gave her a qwerty smirk earlier but it went over her head. Poor Chucky Cheese, Morton’s D.C. is the best steak house in the country but no doggie bag for her! She’s stuck sharing dog chow with her hound. I’m sure the baying and howling will begin again.
