Looks like Sean Preston and Jayden aren't the only Spearses with new cars! Yesterday, we watched as Brit picked out a brand new Mercedes SL 65 - a car which blue-books at close to two hundred grand! Of course, Brit couldn't give her new whip a real test drive without seeing how well it handled outrunning the paps. Fortunately, she only had to wait until later that night for her chance - and the SL's six hundred horsepower just blew the paps out of the water!
What do you get the woman who already has everything?
A two hundred thousand dollar Benz, of course!
The only downside? The SL's a two-seater - no room for the kids!

Britney is NOT #1 and has not sold that many CD’s. Her sales are quite low and they have already dropped off in sales dramatically since the first day of release. It would have been a lie if Britney had claimed the #1 spot.
So this is very fair of Billboard and everyone else to do. It is very fair to the Eagles and anyone else out there that really are selling far more then Britney. The Eagles have sold almost 2 ½ times (711,000) more in CD sales then Britney has so far. Britney has only sold 290,000 copies in the entire week from its release.
Compared to her last CD, which sold 609,000 on the “first day” of its release Britney is doing poorly. And her CD sales have fallen off heavily since the spike of sales on the first day of its release. So she is doing badly in sales now.
Billboard IS doing the right thing and what is ethical to do. Good for them!

I don't begrudge her buying a new car, if I had the money I would get a new one too! But, doesn't it seem that she gets a new car so she doesn't have to get California plates on it? I haven't seen real plates on one of her cars in the past year, the plates are just advertisements for the dealerships. You have to get a CA driver's license within 30 days of moving to CA, don't you have to get plates within 30 days of buying a car?
