Brit's Mom Says: 'Things are Looking Up!'

Lynne Spears says she's happy with the direction her daughters' lives are headed.
She tells People Magazine, "Really wonderful things are happening now... it looks like things are looking up again."
But Lynne says that the criticism she's endured over Britney's wild ways and Jaime-Lynne's teenaged pregnancy have been difficult.
"I had a perfect little plan," she said. "But, you can't control the (kid's) peers, you can't control society and you do the best you can."
On the positive side, Lynne says looking to an upcoming family get-together with Britney and her kids, Sean and Jayden, and Jamie-Lynne and her daughter Maddie.
"The seasons are changing and things are good this year," Lynne says. "I am so happy where we are right now."

They have some awesome connections with 20/20 and all. Disney's probably trying again. However, when all is said and done, they're the same scruple-less family. When they go back down again, heaven help the children.
