I have been thinking about this dog thing. I live in the east where apparently the laws are stricter. We can't even adopt a mutt from the Humane Society without a background check and all kinds of crap. It takes a few days before they decide if the person is worthy of the pet.

At pet stores, if we want to buy a puppy, we have to prove that we have the right environment for it. If it is a temperamental or nervous type, we can't buy it if we have small kids. Generally really small dogs are nervous and temperamental around little kids. I have one and he's a touchy SOB (My kids are older).

What I am getting at is, that I find it strange that anyone can walk in and buy an expensive puppy and buy nothing like a bed, collar, food, etc. I have never seen that happen here in NY. I have never seen anyone buy an expensive dog without some proof of ability to care for it and no one walks out without some accessories for the new puppy.

I doubt it was stolen or else we would know by now. It's just damn strange how it all went down. Another vendor giving Britney and her hanger on a break that we normal people don't get? Hell, look what Helen had to go through with Iggy!

To the Doubters who think she Bought the puppy:
In order to see the actual THEFT of the puppy, you have to go back to the post of 12/8/07 at 13:30.
There you see her and Alli going between aisles with Britney holding the puppy. They stop, look around, stand close, still for a few seconds, back to the camera, and then emerge with no sign of the puppy, like a magic trick! And there was no stop in the filming either. They then leave the store. Notice how high Alli is holding that bag up in the air over her head. Obviously didn't want anyone to see inside--whatever it is, it's all white, just like the pup. You don't BUY a pup and take it home in a plastic bag! To the poster who doubted she bought the pup because she didn't buy accessories, she's had dozens of other dogs, so she has all that stuff already. Of course when she bought her last pup a few months ago, she was only too happy to pose with it for the paps. THIS DOG WAS STOLEN!! I hope the store will be the first to stand up to her, and for the welfare of the pup, file a complaint and get the poor creature back. This is not a $1.39 liter but a defenseless living creature. There is no excuse for this juvenile and criminal behavior. And they can get Alli for assisting her.

I'm the last person to defend Britney, but I honestly think Alli bought the dog. She had the papers in her hand about the worming history. At the Millenium it was in her bag and she seemed to be looking at it. I think she just probably stuck the dog in her purse to avoid confusion and she did buy other stuff at the pet store. She had a bag from there. I think there were parts of the video we couldn't see or maybe were cut out. The owner of the pet shop would have done something by now if it was stolen.

TMZ reports that the 26-year-old singer was caught on video driving on the wrong side of the road of the road. She was followed by a string of SUVs driven by the paparazzi.

Spears is no stranger to traffic violations. She had been caught hitting a parked car and leaving without contacting the owner, thus, getting a misdemeanor hit and run and driving without a valid license. She had also ran a red light at a Los Angeles intersection. Spears had been ruled against driving her children as a result of her multiple driving infractions.
