X17 XCLUSIVE: Check(er) Her Out!
Posted on Wed Dec 10, 2008 08:55 AM PDT

Last night Britney rehearsed at the International Dance Academy, and when the pop princess was all done, she bundled up in a checkered trench and made some funny faces as she headed to her SUV.
We've never seen Brit in this overcoat before - think it's gonna be her new fav?

was she burping or ready to barf?
SWALLLOWING.....
Classic Britney...making faces. She's slowly but surely regaining her "this is why we fell for her" persona.
Stay well, Britney. The YOU who was lost was just that LOST, not gone.
Luv U!
xoxo
lol.this woman is a joke.she is so ugly. she is almost 30 and she is ugly than ever, damn, look at her huge head
She definitely looks better than she did a few months ago, but she still looks half-dead. Her skin is so pale and her eyes are shallow and lifeless. Goes to show that with enough makeup, they can make almost anyone look better. And to the poster above that said "Classic Britney...making faces." Read the post, look carefully at the pictures and think. She just got through working out and is thirsty, so she chugs a Coca-Cola. What happens when you chug a Coke? She is burping, not "making faces". Duh.
she looks like a zombie
bahhhhh she scares me.so ugly.look at her eyes
she looks horrible............and her eyes look really drugged up.
you guys are extremely rude. I am sure you are all ugly yourself. Britney came back from the dance studio, of course she is not going to be all done up and gorgeous. The important thing is that she is making silly faces and becoming the Britney that we all used to know and love. She has improved greatly, and it is good to see her like this.
CONGRATS ON THE NUMBER 1 ALBUM BRITNEY!!!!! TAKE THAT HATERSSSSSS. AND CONGRATS ON SELLING OVER 400,000 CONCERT TICKETS ALREADY!!!!!!

ok no one was comparing Madonnas concert to Britneys you idiot. Madonna has been around a lot longer so its ok that she is the queen of pop. And Madonna still had some empty seats at her concert, so doesnt matter how fast they sold, they still didnt sell out at a lot of stadiums. And she is not playing the victim, maybe you should have watched her documentary so that you could see she even says she doesnt like to use the word victim. AND MAYBE YOU ARE JUST FAT AND UGLY AND JEALOUS! haha

And yet another Brit Moron speaks up and makes it obvious why stupid is as stupid does!
she looks old before her time and the blond hair looks wrong with her eye color and skin tone.
really? I know people that went to Madonnas concert in LA and clearly, it was not sold out. STUPID
Brit is ugly, she has NO natural beauty.
stella shut it you fat insane little britard.
She looks young and fresh, u haters r jelois.
stella is a jelous insecure whore-how do I know?
she thinks she is prettier then angelina jolie(she tried to say that on a thread last night), and yet she thinks britney is pretty enough to be jealous of??
How can you think Angie is the ugliest chick in the world, but you think britney is pretty?
bitch please. you are probably just fat and unattractive and you are hoping more fat unattractive girls like you get noticed. Keep reaching honey. Maybe one day.
Britney certainly is looking old lately.
she looks ok
Jealous of what??????
She is under a conservatorship and is being micro-managed to death by her “handlers”
She has lost her babies
A court of law and psychiatrists have decided she is very unstable mentally and not of sound mind
She has embarrassed herself personally for the last few years in front of the world in a major way with all her psychotic actions
She was carted off to psych wards twice and rehab once in front of the world
She can't even have a man right now since "daddy" controls her life
She is watched 24/7 since she is crazy
She has no friends but only people around her that control her, make money off of her, and are paid to control her life to the extreme
They have to give her psychiatric evaluations for the rest of her life, and she has to be monitored all the time, and she is on meds for the rest of her life
She herself has said she is miserable and very unhappy
She can't go anywhere, or have any real fun, or friends like everyone else can
She is a prisoner and will never be free
And it’s all the people around her and the industry that creates her "art" (the writers of the music, the studio technicians, the producers etc.). They have to correct her vocals for her CD's since she can't really sing. She has to lip-synch on stage since she can’t sing. She does not even dance anymore because of her knee injuries she had then had to have operated on (1999 and 2004)
So what is there to be jealous of? I would be very scared to have her "life". I love my freedom and that no one controls my life. No one tells me what to do. I can go where I want. I can have "real relationships" with "real" people, not paid people to watch me 24/7. And most important, I am very happy in my life.
Personally, I feel really bad for Britney, she is in a living hell, but her people make it look like she is living the good life so her fans will buy the CD's that are created by others. They then put her image on the CD to make it look like she is the cause of her music, but she is not.
I will take happiness any day over her sad life!
Poor Britney Spears. While her former Mousketeer Pals are well, having a REAL life - going out without babysitters, cozying up to their partners, playing with their children and forming careers on REAL talent - Britney is without love, alone except for the people paid to be with her, without her children (without supervision)! BRITNEY IS A LOSER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BRITNEY SPEARS' WRONG KIND OF CIRCUS
I actually used to admire the Britney machine.
There was something downright awe-inspiring about the sheer audacity of everyone involved in the project. Long after the woman-child at the heart of it all had been exposed as simple, talentless and lacking even the most basic interest in her "art," her people forged on and continued to produce material under the Britney brand.
People would write songs for her, she'd come in and croak out a few notes before going back to her Cheetos, and then someone would ProTool the hell out of the whole thing. Soon enough, the world would have another collection of easily digestible, thoroughly disposable and somewhat amusing commercial pop music with barely any input from Brit Bot.
I appreciated the twisted honesty of the whole situation: Britney wasn't an "artist" and no one was really trying that hard to pretend she was. In fact, there wasn't much effort being put into the pretense that she was a necessary part of the process at all. It was almost like a performance art piece on the superficiality of modern mainstream pop music and tabloid fame.
As Britney's mental issues became more and more apparent, though, the spectacle became a lot less entertaining. It's one thing to laugh at a woman who spends all of her time hanging out at Taco Bell drive-ins being half-assedly propped up as a pop princess. It's an entirely different thing to watch her go through a very public breakdown and then have her dragged through the entire process again.
On the surface, Circus is a lot like the Britney albums that I found so perversely entertaining. It's still full of the guilty pleasure, aural-equivalent-of-McDonald's-food kind of songs that made her so popular in the first place. But upon further listens, there seems to be something more mean-spirited going on this time around. The joke's no longer on the record-buying population; it's now on Britney herself.
This is most apparent in "Blur," a track about waking up in a stranger's bed and not knowing what she's done the night before. If Britney had actually recovered and written the thing herself, it might have been a cheeky, self-aware take on the past few years of her life. Seeing as it was written for her and she's obviously not all there, it just comes off as terribly exploitational and creepy.
There's also a cruel irony that runs through the title track. At best, it's painfully clueless to have a 27-year-old woman who's under conservatorship to her father sing about being in the middle of the ring and being in control. At worst, it's an outright mockery.
Most of the other tracks are pretty innocuous. There are the usual songs about boys ("MMM Papi, "Unusual You"), fame ("Kill The Lights") and single entendres ("If U Seek Amy"), but even their substance-free fun can't distract from the ugliness of the greater picture.
Britney's definitely in a circus. It's just a shame that no one is willing to tell her she's not the ringmaster, she's the freak show.
BRITNEY SPEARS DOESN'T WANT TO TOUR
HOLLYWOOD, CA., Dec.9 (TOTI)
Britney Spears' 'comeback' hasn't been easy and insiders say that her father, Jamie Spears, is pushing her to work even harder, but Britney doesn't want to go on a concert tour.
Sources at National Enquirer told the magazine, "Britney did not want to go on tour and fought with her father from the time they flew to Germany on Nov. 24," the insider revealed. "She was so angry that she took Valium just to stay calm."
"She wanted to stay home and spend Thanksgiving with Jayden and Sean. She even complained that she'd hurt her knee and couldn't perform. But Jamie insisted!"
Britney is so reluctant to tour that Jamie promised that Kevin Federline and her sons could join her entourage for the American leg of the Circus tour that begins in March. Of course, that doesn't come without cost. Federline reportedly demanded that the tour is filmed and that he has his own tour bus.
Alli Sims, Britney's former assistant and friend doesn't think Britney's ready to tour, either. She recently told In Touch magazine, "I honestly didn't want to think this was all about money. I wanted to think that this was about a person's well-being. They claim she is unable to care for herself, but then they're pushing her to go back to work. This isn't part of her therapy. It's a world tour. It means she'll be waking up in a different city every day. It means she won't be able to see her children. And that will be heartbreaking for Britney."
Spears was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, a condition that causes dramatic mood swings but can be treated with medications.
Her first North American concert is in New Orleans, Louisiana on March 3, 2009. She ends the Circus tour with several dates at the 02 Arena in London in June.
Even if Britney was interested in touring, and even if it was her decision, then her "team" should be telling her no! Or at least put her under far less stress. Her being under a conservatorship means she is mentally unstable and not of sound mind. So you don't let a person that is not of sound mind run out and kill themselves with a huge world tour and all the pressure. That is part of being a conservator. It is to make sure the person that is under the conservatorship is not doing or pushing themselves to do things that drove them crazy in the first place. So if it really is Britney's decision to tour, and put herself under all that stress, right after she spent that last few years almost killing herself, then her team is not keeping her best interest at heart. She will go nuts again.
Same people who write the same thing every day, until it tires!
Britney is beautiful, healthy and your daily offenses will not change anything.
I work in the field of Mental Health. And from all the information that has come out on Britney, it is strange that her "people" are able to push her to do all of this so fast and so hard. She just spent the last few years in a deep state of psychosis, and that just does not go away in a year or two. She is still affected by it in a major way and probably will be for life. Why they are all pushing her so hard is beyond me. It should be against the law to do that to someone that is under a c-ship. The reason someone is under one is because it has been decided by a court of law and psychiatrists that the person is mentally challenged to a substantial extent. I hope they don't drive her down again by doing all the same things they did to her before.
If Britney is healthy, then why is she under a major consrvatorship for life?
They only give those out to people that are in really bad shape mentally. She is not healthy at all!
I think this girl looks just fine. she is rehearsing at a Dance Academy. she just looks exhausted, it's dark out and the stalkerazzi take really bad pictures with really bad light. when she needs to and as of lately, she looks amazing. Her new music sounds great and is rocking the charts.Seems to me and a lot of other people in the world, she is doing much better. Her body is in great shape. Her career is back on track. she is working hard and trying to be a good mom. The best she can be. I think she has made many improvements in her life in the last year and it really shows. The world can see she is doing her best. she is getting great press and many of her fans and people in the biz are really supporting the effort she is continung to put forth. so give it a rest and find another celeb to kick while they are down. Haters suck.
Healthy?
Yeah being on 10000000000000000000000000000000000000 different medications
boy she sure is one healthy chick!
LOL.
You need to check out the laws in California and find out how severe a c-ship really is. Basically, anyone under a c-ship is considered mentally impaired to a very heavy extent. They’re considered to be unable to take care of themselves at all since they are not of sound mind. They may harm or kill themselves or others if not closely supervised.
It is very, and I mean VERY difficult to get a c-ship over someone in California. Judges have to have psychiatrists and highly trained psychologists do a major amount of test to prove without a doubt that someone is really mentally impaired and a REAL danger to their own safety or life and others. Basically when you have a c-ship over someone, you have basically taken away their Constitutional rights and freedoms. So the Judges and the Courts are very careful not to give out c-ship on a light basis. So, in other words, the psychiatrists found Britney to be insane and incapable of taking care of herself for life. The c-ship was made permanent if you remember. Britney’s dad now controls her for life.
Her mental problems are obviously very heavy, and for life since there is no cure for it. Just constant psychiatric evaluations form time to time and major medication for the rest of her life. She actually lives in a living hell because of her delusional fans that have driven her in to the ground with their constant “need” of her. Britney’s family and her management (Larry) are using all of this to make more money off of her.
Britney has about the same amount of legal rights and freedoms as she did when she was around 11 years old in the Mickey Mouse Club.
How can you be under a c-ship, which is completely run by the person that has control over you and yet you are still in control of your own life and decisions? I don’t think so. So thinking that Britney is running her own show and wants to do all of this is very contradictory if you think about it.
C-ships take an incredible amount of your rights away. And the judge and the press have stated that her father is in complete control of all her business dealing and her money. So the point is, even if Britney does want to do this or does not want to, is irrelevant. She will do as her father and team tell her.
Her greedy father, manager and the industry are pushing her to the extreme. She’ll break big time soon. Then all her fans will cry and whine again like they always do over her. But they are the ones that are killing her with their extreme need of her. So in the end when Britney has a major breakdown again or is dead, it will be their fault!
Yeah all that puking has made our girl brit extra sexy!!!!
She is the posterchild of health y'all!
Poor Britney! Needs a babysitter, can't be alone with her children after having her rights taken away, has no man to lay with at night and daddy calls all her shots. . . . LMFAO at this fool. Karma has bitten her big time.
SHE WONT MAKE IT UNTIL SPRING TO TOUR.
11:59 2nd
The industry is supporting her because she is making money for them. They don't care about her at all. When she was down, they all abandoned her and acted like she was a pariah.
And as for her fans, they are the ones that are killing her with their extreme demands on her.
And as for her sales right now, those are sympathy sales. Most of her fans bought 3 or 4 copies each of her CD to push up the sales. Next week she will drop on the charts a big amount.
She is also very unhappy with her life as she has said over and over.
So everything you are seeing is just illusion at the moment, and the illusion will break down soon.
If I had that forehead I would be unhappy too!
I was not talking about psychology, because I know that it's bad at all, I was referring to the physical
12:16 if I were HER I would be unhappy. How nice that the ONLY thing she has going for her are some hit songs/videos that OTHER people worked on - all she did was lend her voice (argh) and lipsync for videos. BFD.
UGLY WORTHLESS SKANK.
Notice daddy isn't letting her drive again. First day ALLOWED and she got a ticket. What an idiot and NO that doesnt' mean brainiac. . . Britney should get an education instead of wasting every ones time on a tour she will never go ahead with.
She looks good actually and in shape. Madonna LOVES her and clearly so does the public. #1 album. She living her life, and you're just watching and hating. Come on!!! We all know who the real losers are.

her new album is okay. i personally liked the songs on blackout better. she looks really pale in this picture. i really think she was pushed back into the light too quickly. its obvious she still has some mental issues and that should be her focus. i wish her the best though.
BRITNEY SPEARS: STRICT REGIME MAKING BRITNEY CRY IN PRIVATE
Britney Spears’ strict regime is reportedly taking its toll on her emotional health.
The singer is said to be in a “deceptively fragile” state due to the pressure from her record label and her father Jamie, who filed for legal conservatorship so he could control her finances and personal affairs.
“She has been celibate for months now and jokes to friends she may as well be a nun.
The constraints on her life are totally suffocating and humiliating. She has been crying in private and putting on a brave face in public,” the Daily Express quoted a source, as saying.
In addition, Britney has little control over what she eats as she gears up for her upcoming world tour.
“Every mouthful is being monitored. She’s on a strict no-sugar diet, which is crazy considering her fitness regime,” the source added. (ANI)

BRITNEY SPEARS 'LIVING LIKE A NUN'
Britney Spears admitted on TV earlier this week that she hates the constraints put on her life.
The singer’s father Jamie is in charge of her estate, finances and well-being and closely monitors everything she does.
But in private the 27-year-old singer has also complained about her lack of a sex life.
‘She has been celibate for months now and jokes to friends she may as well be a nun,’ a source says.
‘The constraints on her life are totally suffocating. She has been crying in private and putting on a brave face in public.’
Britney, 27, is also thought to have been put on a strict eating plan ahead of her world tour next year.
‘Every mouthful is being monitored,’ the source tells the Daily Express. ‘She’s on a strict no-sugar diet.’
BRITNEY TREATED LIKE A CHILD AND HOW HER DAD TOOK CONTROL
Dec 07 2008 07:43
The year did not begin well for Britney Spears, the one-time princess of pop. On 3 January, after not sleeping for four days, and at the end of a period of intense personal turmoil, the police were called to her Malibu home.
Spears had refused hysterically to hand over her children to aides of ex-husband Kevin Federline -- who had custody of them -- and was eventually strapped to a gurney and hauled out of her house.
She was driven to a psychiatric ward, trailed by a parade of paparazzi. The entire scene was broadcast on TV.
To many, that shocking incident seemed to spell the end of a career that had once dominated global pop music. Others worried it could foreshadow something even worse, predicting that Spears could soon join the long roster of rock casualties. Either way, it seemed to sum up the grim cost of modern fame: both on society as a whole and for the famous themselves.
But, as this year draws to a close, Spears has stunned many by riding the wave of one of the most remarkable comebacks in the history of pop music: she has a critically praised new album; is poised to launch a new tour; is giving media interviews; and appears healthy and well. 'Yes she can! Britney returns' blared the latest issue of music bible Rolling Stone, which put her on the cover two weeks ago. By any standard it is a stunningly unexpected turn of events.
Yet behind the good news of a career back on track is the controlling hand of the pop star's father, Jamie Spears. The former chef and building contractor now controls almost every aspect of Spears' life and multimillion-dollar fortune. He has been given legal control over his daughter, who is now in a state of "conservatorship" with few powers to spend her own money, see people outside her inner circle or choose how she lives her life.
It is a situation that has some Britney-watchers wondering at what price her new success has come and what the real motivation behind her career's relaunch might be. It might be less about the rebirth of a pop megastar or a daughter's return to mental health, but the desperate need to keep the cash flowing into the Spears family coffers. "Some people worry that Britney's family are using her for all the wrong reasons," said Michelle Lee, editor of celebrity magazine In Touch Weekly.
Last week Spears celebrated her 27th birthday in Manhattan. At a swanky party held in the Tenjune nightclub, Spears appeared in a revealing dress that instantly set cameras flashing. It marked another milestone in a young life that nevertheless feels like it has contained a very long career. The "old Britney" might have used the occasion for serious and out-of-control partying, generating a slew of bad headlines, but instead the scene was sedate. Spears was kept inside the VIP room, away from most of the guests.
Access to her was tightly controlled. One guest present at the bash said her father was acting like "the secret service" in shepherding his daughter around.
But, almost certainly because of that stern discipline, there seems little doubt the relaunch of Spears is working. Aside from Rolling Stone, Spears' face has stared out from other American magazine covers over the past month. She is once again good cover-girl material, and this time for the "right" reasons that fuel celebrity culture: fashion faux pas, new singles, video appearances and speculation about whom she is dating and her relationship with her ex-husband. She has topped the Yahoo! list of terms most searched for on the internet, easily beating her pop rivals and even defeating president-elect Barack Obama.
In others words, Spears' life is back to "normal", as far as that can be applied to a globally famous pop star. Looking trim again and giving interviews -- including a highly regarded MTV documentary in which she talked frankly about her experiences of the past few years -- she also has a hit single, Womanizer, and her new album Circus is being hailed as her best for years. She is preparing to embark on a tour to promote the album -- one of the most eagerly awaited musical events of 2009. She also seems to have won back her place in American hearts.
"People are cheering her on," said Mary Beth McGee, who writes top celebrity blog INF Daily. "The public really do want to see her do well."
McGee believes Spears needed her father's firm hand in her life to save herself and her career.
"The fact Jamie Spears both controlled her estate and had her on lockdown is what really made the whole healing process happen," McGee said.
But there is little doubt that the nature of Jamie's role in his daughter's life is raising unsettling questions about what sort of control is needed to save Spears from herself. Under the terms of the conservatorship -- which Britney had originally fought unsuccessfully in the courts -- she does not have much more control over her life than a child star does. Her father hires bodyguards to watch over her day and night.
Jamie has brought back her old manager, Larry Rudolph, to reshape her career. Reports claim she does not drive her own car and her phone calls are monitored. Her dates are chaperoned and carefully screened. Jamie went on holiday with her earlier this year to Costa Rica, unwilling to leave her alone abroad. He controls all her finances and decides how her money is spent. Her media interviews are micro-managed to the nth degree and kept to a strictly limited series of questions. She is no longer allowed to sit down with journalists alone. Jamie also recently won a court decision making the conservatorship permanent. That means he could end up in total control of his daughter until the day he dies.
Fatherly love undoubtedly plays a huge role in his involvement -- it must have been devastating to have watched a daughter go off the rails in such a public fashion. But there are also clear financial reasons, too. Spears is one of the biggest brand names ever to have emerged in music and she is a brand every bit as much as she is a person. She has sold 83-million records worldwide in her decade-old career -- making her the eighth-best-selling female artist in American history -- and has been performing professionally in public since she was eight and has long been the main source of income for most of her family.
She is not just a singer or a daughter or a sister to the Spears clan -- she is also an industry and a product.
That has some worried about her, even as they applaud her comeback. "When you reach that level of fame, it is hard to see whether the people around her are there for the right reasons," said Lee.
But whatever the strangeness of her current situation, there is no doubt that it is a turnaround from a life that had gone from fairytale to nightmare. The small-town girl from Kentwood, Louisiana, had sprung on to the world stage in 1998 with the song ... Baby One More Time. Her brand of faux-innocent flirty pop gradually grew up into a more clubby, sexualized brand of music. But the hits kept on coming and she became a hugely successful star, touring the world.
There was a high price to be paid: denied a normal life, she gradually fell deeper and deeper into a pattern of hard partying and drunken escapades. "She was someone who had the really dangerous world of fame open to her at a young and impressionable age and it basically all came crumbling down upon her," McGee said.
In the last few years Spears had seemed to be losing all control. There was a drunken first marriage (annulled after 55 hours) in Las Vegas to a childhood sweetheart. Then a swift romance with Federline that rapidly produced two children. Numerous incidents and clashes with photographers occurred as Spears became more famous for her clubbing, crotch-flashing and bad driving than her music. Her short second marriage ended in a bitter divorce and she embarked on a life of hard partying. She behaved increasingly erratic, eventually losing custody of her children. A pack of paparazzi permanently trailed her around Los Angeles from one PR disaster to another. They seemed to be waiting for the ultimate tragedy to befall her.
Seemingly oblivious, Spears started dating one of the photographers, casting off all contact with her family and the previous management that had made her famous. She popped in and out of rehab like so many seemingly doomed celebrities. Then she seemed to be flirting openly with mental collapse when she shaved her head at a suburban hair salon in Los Angeles. As usual photographers were there to capture the humiliating moment. Eventually it all culminated in that dreadful night at the start of this year that ended with her being committed at Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre.
Yet now she is back. "I'm so glad for her. We have all had our worries about her," said Lee. But, despite her current triumph, it is not clear whether Spears has escaped the hellish and surreal existence that her fame has created for her. Or that she ever will. The conservatorship of her father may keep her on the tracks, but does it make her happy? Or more normal? In the recent MTV documentary Spears tearfully confessed to being "sad", despite her new-found success. "She feels in a prison. She has no control over anything," said Lee. Fame, it seems, still comes at a high price.
THE DAY I SAW BRITNEY SPEARS’ FATHER PULL A KNIFE
By Sharon Churcher
Last updated at 10:06 PM on 06th December 2008
Britney Spears celebrated her 27th birthday party last week in New York. She appears to have undergone a remarkable transformation. Less than a year ago, her reign as America’s favourite pop princess had descended into ghoulish soap opera.
Her bizarre drink and drug-fuelled behaviour had led to doubts about her sanity, she had lost custody of her two young sons to former husband Kevin Federline, and she had been forcibly taken to a psychiatric ward in Los Angeles after a stand-off with police.
Last week, however, she celebrated her 27th birthday with a smile on her face and a hit single, Womanizer, near the top of the charts.
Once shaven-headed and bloated from a diet of junk food and alcohol, Britney again looks toned and fit. Her recent appearance on X Factor during a whirlwind trip to London drew a record audience for the show.
The man credited as the architect of one of pop music’s most extraordinary comebacks is none other than Britney’s father, Jamie.
The 56-year-old former builder, who is divorced from Britney’s mother Lynne, was granted control over the star’s business affairs and appointed her ‘conservator’ – the equivalent of a child’s guardian for an adult – at a court hearing last February, shortly after her discharge from a psychiatric ward.
This effectively handed Spears control over his daughter’s life and there is no doubt he takes the role seriously. His first act was to cut her off from an aide who was allegedly plying his daughter with pills. He ordered a halt to the spending sprees that were draining Britney’s fortune and made sure she kept away from the sleazy clubs and hangers-on who could drag her back to her old self-destructive habits.
He also masterminded her extraordinary return to the recording studio and stage. Britney has just released her sixth album, Circus, and will embark on a world tour in the New Year that is expected to earn in excess of £150million.
Yet something about her performance on X Factor – she lip-synched badly, danced unconvincingly and appeared stunned when asked about the relative merits of the contestants – suggests that all is not quite as it seems.
Insiders on her mini-tour of Germany, France and Britain revealed that the star lives in a bubble designed to maximise her potential as a money-making machine as well as physically separate her from all temptation – whether that be drugs, alcohol, junk food or men.
Failed marriage: Britney's parents Lynne and Jamie divorced in 2002 after 20 years together
But Britney’s friends are worried that the regime imposed by her father does little for her fragile state of mind. They say that in private she confesses to feeling pressurised to perform, frequently dissolves in tears and has a volatile love-hate relationship with her father.
They also question whether Jamie Spears, a former bankrupt and recovering alcoholic whose only business experience is a failed building company is a suitable person to exercise such iron control over a very vulnerable young woman.
Certainly the Spears I met seven years ago at his isolated bungalow on a dirt road in rural Kentwood, Louisiana, didn’t seem the most sensitive of souls. In a terrifying encounter that lasted four hours, Britney’s father subjected me to a hostile drunken monologue while refusing to let me leave.
Every time I got up to go, he picked up a large carving knife and theatrically stabbed it into the wooden table at which we were sitting.
‘You can sleep here,’ he said. ‘You said you wanted to know what it was like being Britney.’
Two growling alsatians, a rottweiler and a man Spears claimed was a ‘bodyguard’ prowled the creaky back porch, which had been converted into a makeshift redneck bar complete with illuminated Budweiser sign, beer and whisky. An airgun lay in front of Spears.
He had been drinking heavily and was chewing Kodiak tobacco and showed me round the little house where Britney grew up while his ‘bodyguard’ cooked a huge iron pan of crayfish outside on a camping stove.
Surprisingly, the inside of the house was immaculate, almost as though no one lived there. It was also a rather spooky shrine to his famous daughter, with framed pictures, magazine covers, platinum records, concert posters and even used ticket stubs covering almost every available inch of space.
Spears told me: ‘There’s not a man on earth could be happier than me. I have got the most famous daughter in the world.’ But he admitted: ‘I squandered my money on wild women and beer.
‘Britney is focused. She’s been a star since birth. I still build but I do it when I feel like it.’
Spears then attempted to give me a drunken hug. He confided that he was all but broke, but added that Britney had bought him the smart white pick-up truck parked outside and had bought his wife Lynne, from whom he was then estranged, a Mercedes.
My bizarre encounter with the man who controls a pop empire took place in March 2002. Britney was still a fresh-faced 20-year-old but already a pop phenomenon.
I finally managed to escape after Jamie and his ‘bodyguard’ escorted me to a local bar, where he said they needed to buy more beer.
It was a lifestyle from which young Britney had also tried to escape. When her breakthrough hit Baby One More Time came out in 1998, her parents had only a few months previously declared themselves bankrupt with debts of £100,000. Their phone was cut off because of unpaid bills and their old Ford pick-up was seized and auctioned on the steps of the local courthouse. Its windscreen was cracked and there were 71,770 miles on the clock. The vehicle fetched £1,000.
Though many local people blamed Jamie Spears’s drinking for the failure of his business, Britney castigated herself.
She believed her parents’ financial collapse and their subsequent divorce happened because she and her mother spent so long away from home – Britney starred in the long-running American TV show The Mickey Mouse Club.
As is often the case, however, her complicated relationship with her hard-drinking father was to cast a long shadow over her adult life. Britney’s romance with the clean-cut Justin Timberlake broke up after allegations that she was unfaithful. She embarked on a string of tempestuous relationships soon afterwards that mirrored her father’s disastrous marriage.
Her first husband, Jason Alexander, was a swaggering heavy drinker who could have been a younger Jamie Spears. The second – Federline, a little-known dancer – already had one child and a girlfriend who was eight months pregnant when his relationship with Britney began.
The most disturbing part of the new arrangement between father and daughter is that Britney’s show-business career is her father’s only passport out of poverty – a poverty that his alcoholism helped create.
With Britney’s apparent recovery, I spoke again to the Spears family’s friends in the faded town of Kentwood, population 2,174.
They told me that Jamie had been sober for five years after treatment at a rehabilitation clinic and hoped his own battle with alcohol would be an inspiration to his daughter. One friend said: ‘He genuinely believes he can be an anchor in her life.
‘He’s very honest about his faults and he tells her, “Don’t do as I do, do as I say you’re to do.” She says she has forgiven him for her childhood. But I know she finds it hard. There’s a sadness in her eyes.’
When a court in Los Angeles appointed Spears his daughter’s conservator, he reportedly persuaded her to support his application by saying it would help her to win back custody of her children from Federline. But this is a development that conspicuously appears no nearer today than it did a year ago.
Her father’s supporters insist that his behaviour is the only type of ‘tough love’ that will prevent his daughter’s relapse into drink and drug addiction again. They point to her evident healthy glow and the rebirth of her show-business career as proof that he has her best interests at heart.
But friends of Britney say she is becoming increasingly anxious about the power her father has over her life.
Tensions have been raised to an all-time high following the announcement that she will embark on a worldwide tour – a massive undertaking for any young star, let alone one who until so recently was on the edge of a total breakdown.
A tearful Britney is said to have threatened to cancel some engagements, complaining that she is not yet strong enough to cope. ‘She blames her father for everything,’ one acquaintance said. ‘He and Brit hardly spoke for years and now all of a sudden he is the king.
‘She has an overwhelming love-hate relationship with her dad, and now Jamie has alienated his daughter by treating her like an infant. She is given to crying fits and says her father has pushed her into performing before she is ready.’
Her friends acknowledge that her father has kept his promise to keep her away from the party, drink and drugs lifestyle that prompted her downward spiral to a psychiatric clinic. But they say his controlling nature comes at a terrible price.
She is not allowed to drive her car or choose her own meals. She cannot leave her father’s side without permission – and then only with chaperones. All her phone calls are monitored and she is watched over day and night by guards.
On her recent mini-tour of Europe, she was surrounded by an entourage of 40 people and left the safety of her hotel room only to go out to ‘appearances’. She was not allowed to rehearse with the dancers on her shows.
Producers and studio technicians were refused any contact with her and all alcoholic drinks were banned – hotel minibars were emptied.
She lives in a strange netherworld of hotel rooms, rehearsal rooms,
television studios, limousines and aeroplanes. Even Rolling Stone, America’s respected music magazine, was prompted to comment that because of the terms of the court order granting her father power of attorney over her life, ‘she has about as many legal rights as when she was a little girl in the Mickey Mouse Club’.
And in one rare moment of sad reflection, Britney herself said: ‘Even when you go to jail, you know there’s the time when you’re gonna get out. If I wasn’t under the restraints I am under, I would feel so liberated.’
The question now is: how long will Britney accept her father’s diktat? Already there are signs of rebellion. Shortly after her X Factor appearance, thousands of fans crammed into London’s Astoria club to see her, only to be informed she was ‘too shy’ to go on stage.
No matter how genuinely Jamie Spears wants to help his daughter, the fear is that this unsophisticated former alcoholic could be simply unable to help her escape the past.
THE LONELINESS REALLY IS KILLING POOR YOUNG BRITNEY
Sylvia Patterson on the pop bubble
LAST TUESDAY, Britney Spears turned 27 years old. 27 is, of course, the Age Of Rock 'n' Roll Death, the classic date of expiration for musical renegades from Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, and Brian Jones to Kurt Cobain. So let's just hope, this time next year, we're not adding Britney to the ultimate casualty list because, judging by the past week's hysterically scrutinized and brutally criticized "comeback" caper, she seems even more mad now than she was when she was Mad.
Her X Factor performance, viewed by 12.8 million people, was notable not for its lack of live vocals - Britney has never pretended to be some celestial soprano, she is a Video Star, a visual construct, a perv-pop marionette with a bendy, S-shaped back - but for the look on her face when Dermot O'Leary posed his chipper question: "Now, our acts have been doing your songs tonight, you've been backstage, how do you think they've done?"
Silence. "Amazing!", she grinned.
"I met so many different people, the place is beautiful and I love being here in London, it's awesome." And 12.8 million people gawped at their TV screens and thought: "There is something missing in this picture and it isn't the vacancy behind the deadened eyes of the sometime most fabulous pop tart on the planet, it's the absolutely colossal elephant in the room." Which is to say that Britney Spears, at 27, is a twice-divorced sometime drug-riddled psychiatric-hospital-attending single mother of two estranged children who has zero clue of any other world beyond her hermetically sealed-off bubble. And the only fabulous thing about her these days are her glossily seamless hair extensions.
Britney Spears has always been the most preposterously over-controlled pop phenomenon the world has ever known, trained to behave like a hologram of a robot right from the very beginning. This week, after her years "off" in meltdown chaos, the masters of her universe returned, not straitjacket-controlling their visibly bewildered charge but controlling the global media, too. They shielded her from TV interviews (even on Good Morning America, where she literally jumped through fiery hoops) while magazines were forced to agree, as Rolling Stone did (the most powerful music magazine in publishing history), to "a rigorously micro-managed interview process" where the journalist and Britney were never left alone together and the questions were pre-approved.
"Britney today has about as many legal rights as when she was in the Mickey Mouse Club," notes Rolling Stone's Jenny Eliscu. She is permanently chaperoned by two men, even on dates (her assistant and manager's associate), watched over 24/7 by security guards and her father is now legal conservator of her estate with full control over her business and personal affairs.
Britney feels, however, "like an old person. I go to bed at 9.30pm every night, I don't go out or anything." She also tells the equally restricted Glamour magazine, that other than the people who surround her, she lives in isolation. "I love staying in my bed," she averred "and watching Dancing With The Stars or reading a Danielle Steel novel. I'm kind of boring."
The undiscussable black hole of the last year, meanwhile, was illuminated on TV instead, in Britney's For The Record MTV special, which aired the day her pointedly titled Circus album came out.
There we saw what's also become of Britney Spears - a lonely, tearful, flat lined automaton whose life is no longer out of control but, as she noted, "too in control, there's no excitement, there's no passion. It's bad. I'm sad." And then she burst into tears. Real tears. My loneliness is killing me, indeed That Britney Spears is encouraged to cartwheel across the promotional planet when she's psychologically askew enough to allow herself to weep, openly, on television is testament only to how psychologically askew she still is.
Not so long ago, she was so complicit in the games of the global paparazzi. She had a sexual relationship with one of them in possibly the most high-profile example of the Stockhausen Syndrome ever witnessed. Britney and Britney's People are foraging, evidently, for the damage-limitation sympathy ploy in the merciless hope it translates, globally, into multi-million sales so the whole sorry circus can carry on forever until Britney is what, exactly?
If she's so emotionally dependent on the circus she loathes, surely she's incapable of becoming a recluse? Boredom, loneliness, frustration and a broken heart usually lead, after all, to the kind of psychological implosion which derailed her career and lost her custody of her children in the first place.
The Ballad Of Britney Spears has many verses yet to come and the worst of it is, like so many of her latter-day "classics", it isn't even a very good tune. It says much about us, meanwhile, that Britney Spears is also named this week as the most-searched-for general subject for 2008 on the internet in Britain (via Yahoo!), for the fourth year running, while the top 10 most searched-for celebrities specifically were Britney, Amy Winehouse, Paris Hilton, Madonna, Angelina Jolie, Lily Allen, Heath Ledger, Kate Moss, Katie Price and Mariah Carey. All of whom either are or have been fame-possessed, fame-damaged, out-of-control, on drugs, mad or, in the case of Heath Ledger, dead. But at least he made it, scandal scourers, all the way to 28.
They have her under psychiatric drugs; she is being monitored all the time, her family is controlling her every second like she said in her documentary and her manager is running her in to the ground. She is very unhappy and you can see it if you look past the fake smile. She has said how very unhappy she is and that no one will listen to her, and how they push her (see her documentary again). How could anyone be happy under those conditions at 27 year old or any other time?
Britney will say what she is told to say. How can you be under a conservatorship and at the same time not be controlled. It is very, very difficult to get a conservatorship on someone in California. Psychiatrists and the courts have to prove that you are very incapable of taking care of yourself. And most important, you don't have the mental capacity to think rationally or make decisions like an adult of sound mind. So how is she supposed to run her whole life and make decisions about something major like her career or her own choices on what she likes and does not like. You can tell in her documentary that she is a very lost little girl who is very unhappy in her life. That is not someone that is doing great or is capable of rational thought. And now her family and Record company are pushing her like crazy with a very hectic schedule that is going to drive her down again. The people around her are just trying to make more money off of her while they can, since they control her now legally and have her isolated.
It's because this is not what Britney wants to do. She has said she is very unhappy, and that she is not really ready for all of this. Her father has her under a legal conservatorship and is pushing her. So is her manager and the CD label. They are the ones pushing her to do this. She has said that she has tried to talk to them, but they won't listen to her. They just keep pushing her. You can tell she is just giving a fake smile and that she is not happy on stage. She said in her documentary that she "hates" clubs and people around her now. She just wants to stay home and read Danielle Steel romance novels now. A lot of her fans think this pressure is way too soon and that it will hurt her a lot in the end. It's her managers and her dad that is making it look like she wants to be back. If they keep pushing her then she will crack and breakdown again heavily.
12:28 - really? The public loves her? Can you even read?????????? LMAO
12:53 her small fan base post their undying love over and over again to make it look like everyone loves her!! Dumb fools
"Poor Young Britney" - ha ha, that's a good one.
OK, it's true she has poor mental health. And poor judgment in men.
Young? Well, yes if you consider her mental age which is about 7, on good days. But as far as her looks are concerned, she is rather 7 times 7, and not 27.
I love Britney, However she looks really trashy here.
Oh but Britney you are so amazing, you are the best, everyone loves you!!
Oh but Britney you are so amazing, you are the best, everyone loves you!!

SPEARS' 'CIRCUS' IS JUST MORE OF THE SAME BRAND: BRITNEY LITE
CD Review
Britney Spears
Quick, somebody call the irony police! Britney Spears is back with a new album, "Circus," and she's apparently still as clueless as ever about the difference between art and artifice, earnest expression and empty ear-candy.
Then again, this MTV-bred teen-sex-doll-turned-adult-train-wreck clearly owes much of her past success precisely to her lack of depth and to her synthetic,
all-on-the-surface gloss. If it's party-hearty fun or semi-orgasmic panting in a sleek dance-pop package you crave, Brit's your babe. At least she was until the upheavals in her personal life made her a perennial tabloid cover girl.
Her messy divorce from Kevin Federline led to her very public meltdowns and multiple visits to rehab clinics and psychiatric hospitals, followed by a bitter child custody battle and a judge's ruling that empowered her father and his attorney to legally control all her personal and financial affairs.
That's one reason why her misguided boast — "I call the shots" — on "Circus" title track rings so hollow (and, like much of the album, sounds so unintentionally sad). Also unintentional is the album's bleak commentary on the pitfalls of superstardom, despite (or perhaps because of) her claim that: I'm a put-on-a-show kinda girl.
Spears and her handlers apparently think that all she needs is another hit album to magically make her troubles vanish. If only.
Life is a lot more complex and challenging than trying to top the pop charts for a week or two. Alas, as on her previous album, last year's artistically and commercially threadbare "Blackout," Spears seems to have learned little from her travails. Worse, she is either unable or unwilling to reflect on her experiences in song or in person, as she demonstrated in the singularly unrevealing MTV documentary, "Britney: For the Record."
Spears co-wrote only two of the 12 songs on "Circus," once again leaving it to her high-paid supporting cast to create lyrics and music that purportedly express or mirror how and what she feels. The problem is, while she sounds more involved than she did with her phoned-in performances on "Blackout," it's the supporting cast that again mostly dominates the limelight.
"Kill the Lights" takes aim at the paparazzi who scramble to photograph Spears' every move, with such lines as: "I feel you, watching me, watching you"; and the Mae West-inspired: "Is that money in your pocket, or are you happy to see me?"
But Spears wasn't among the four lyricists who collaborated on the song. Nor did she contribute a word to the undeniably catchy and calculated "If U Seek Amy," which means four other lyricists decided it made sense for Spears to proclaim in song that both "boys and girls" want "to (have sex with) me."
Whether this is true is besides the point, especially when … as on nearly every other song … Spears' painfully thin voice is so heavily processed by various electronic devices and high-tech sleight of hand. She sounds so detached that your average robot sounds soulful by comparison.
The dance-friendly "Shattered Glass" out-Madonnas Madonna, while the hit single "Womanizer" strongly recalls Rihanna's "S.O.S.," although (unlike Spears) Rihanna somehow kept her clothes on in her video.
That's why, when Spears insists "There's more to me than what you see," the only logical response is: Oh, really? Where?
Britney Spears. "Circus." Jive/Zomba Records. Rating: 2.5 stars
Wow! She really looks washed out, haggard, and busted! And workouts don't give this particular look, it comes from stress and not being healthy. I know a lot of her fans want to try to put a band-aid on it and always say that she is sweaty or something, but they are just denying the obvious truth that she looks like crap! You would have to be wearing rose colored welding goggles to not see this!
Just so you know shitney fans, her album is not in the billboard top 200. So keep on trying shitney fans. You all are liars just like shitney herself saying she cares about her kids.
Thanks Britney for having removed all your tattoos.

thats the only way for her to feel better and be happy.. hello.. don't u guys see it?? she's having fun. I'm proud of her..
"I am the karate kid."
Carol 4:04
Having fun???
Being 27 years old and under your daddy's strict control is... fun
Not having your kids is... fun
Finding out you were a complete ass for 4 years (flashing your twat, almost killing yourself with drugs and drink, losing your kids, being a useless mother, marrying and divorcing twice in three years to two losers, and a million other things)... is fun
Being carted off to psych wards in front of the whole world twice and rehab once is... fun
And now this fake comeback, which has been way over hyped, she does not create any of the music, and does not sing it, just makes it an even bigger joke.
And now with her under a c-ship, and everyone around her controlling everything she does so she is basically in a prison, which she has said her self, is... fun
Wow, she is having so much... fun
The truth of the matter is she is miserable, has everyone running her life and making money off of her. And YOU the fans are just taking advantage of her also. You just want a CD from her for your own benefit so you can party at her expense. You don't care about Britney at all. You only care about yourself. And when she does have her next breakdown from all this stress she is under, will you still consider her to be having… fun?
Britney is not having fun. You can tell that it's a fake smile on her face. She is very unhappy, she has said so herself. She is in prison and everyone is controlling her within an inch of her life. And that is NO fun!
I thought britney was a pepsi girl? guess she switched sides?
bi-cola
She looks haggard...,mental......,she's a CLOWN working in a CIRCUS
I'm not a hater or a fan. I just find in strange that someone that does not sing (lip-synchs), does not writer their own music (but has others write it), does not really dance anymore (because of her 2 knee injuries, 1999 and 2004), and does not have any real talent, why does she get all this hype? If Britney was a real artist and was great at it, and she could write her own songs, and they were great, then OK. Or if she could really sing or really play an instrument, then I could see people really admiring her. But she does nothing really except pretend to be an "artist". She does nothing that anyone else could not do themselves. Lip-synching and walking around a stage pretending to sing songs someone else wrote is not an artist or someone with any real talent. She just fakes it all and plays make believe. People do that all the time in karaoke bars, kids do it all the time in front of their parents. But come on, to buy this electronic music that has been enhanced with Pro Tools and voice correcting software and have everyone else do all the work, well that is not an artist. It’s not someone with any real talent. It's strange that she gets all this hype for someone that does not create anything or do anything herself. It really must be pity sales. A lot of people felt sorry for her so they are trying to push her up by doing the only thing they can, and that is to buy the CD. At the beginning of her career, no one really knew she did not create any of the music or that she did not sing. Even I thought she sang for real and probably wrote all her own music. But as the world found out she did not do any of it, her sales started to drop hard. But now a lot of people that have major problems like Britney does, are supporting her since to them it's like supporting themselves. They are far to associated with Britney and her problems. It’s most likely that this #1 spot will only last a week or so since the pity sales will be over soon. Then we will see the real stales figures after that.
6:57 I know it's hard to understand.
The most I can gather from it all is that there are a lot of dull, empty, boring people out there. Also a lot of social outcast/loser types.
6:57, I totally understand where you all are coming from. I totally understand where you all are coming from. I get that Britney hit rock bottom, that she did stupid stuff. I understand that Britney has done things to make herself look bad (lip synch, show her vagina, etc). But, Britney has also accomplished a lot as an artist. Britney wouldn't be where she is today if she wasn't talented. Hell, you have to give her credit, she led the pop movement. Artists like Rihanna, Katy Perry, and Miley Cyrus wouldn't have the same impact on people had it not been for Britney. She has paved the way for a lot of people. Britney, has also accomplished things no one else has. No artist in the history of the Nielson SoundScan has had 5 albums debut at #1. No female artist has had their first 6 albums debut at either #1 or #2. No artist has made a jump from #96 to #1. Except Britney. Britney has accomplished a lot of things. things that not even Pop divas like Mariah or Christina have done. Britney has been judged so harshly because of the pedestal she put herself on. So yes, indeed it was Britney's fault that she fell off the wagon, although she was persuaded by people such as Adnan or Sam. But, you also have to give her credit from going from the bottom of the barrel to the top of the charts. Not a lot of people in the music business have received so much praise and so much recognition for such an extraordinary comeback. To all of you who post negatively about Britney, keep doing it. It's your opinion, you should voice it. But, at the end of the day, your words aren't causing any effect on us fans, or Britney.
Britney Looks Like a DORK ! as always.
"Im not crazy no more circus tour"
DORK!
5.48 Bwahahahahaha
Pepsi released Britney from her contract due to britney being constantly photographed with coke. Pepsi bailed out of using her just like how Britney use to a spokesperson for ProActive and they too pulled on the contract becuase she wasnt using it and being photoraphed up close with zits!!
thanks for reminding us even though it was about 8 yrs ago when all this happened. She was stupid then and stupid now.Britney will always be stupid, untalented and rich due to her parents manufaturing her for the almighty dollar.
"Hell, you have to give her credit, she led the pop movement. Artists like Rihanna, Katy Perry, and Miley Cyrus wouldn't have the same impact on people had it not been for Britney. She has paved the way for a lot of people. Britney, has also accomplished things no one else has."
---------------------------------
Lmao give me a break. The pop movement has been around decades before this skank was even born, There has been teen idols since the 50's and if we are talking about the MTV era it was Madonna who paved the way for all modern day female pop stars. If it wasn't for Madonna there would be no Britney. Britney is a talentless airhead, all her success is down to her handers and the people who marketed her and manufactured her. She has zero creativity and we saw just how useless she is without her handlers when she fired them before. The only reason she is having this second chance at her career is because she is going back to the same formula she always had done by the same manager. Britney is not in control she is a puppet. Her image and music has not changed the whole time she has been around. There is no growth and nothing new from her. She is a wannabe. She has never done anything original and has no brain, no wit and no charm and no talent. Untalented people are often successful, there is so much bad taste in the world. She is marketed is a very calculating way, which teenyboppers get sucked into every time.
7:31
Britney didn't do any that stuff. Her deluded fans and her management did that FOR her. She has no real talent. You tards can delude yourself and vote over and over for her, but her Peers and the sane people of the world know better. She can't hold a candle to the real artists out there. Keep on doing what you are doing because you will cause her to crash even sooner.

The legendary Aussie rockers are among a group of artists, including Britney Spears and Bruce Springsteen whose music is blasted into cells at high volumes for hours on end.
I read a bunch of stupid shit from some really naive haters who hate just to hate. Some of you try to convince us here that you think we are the reason she had a breakdown. She had one because she had a one child after the other while her husband was out screwing anything that walked in Vegas. Have you heard his latest rap song "Grape SOda" Lol! Yeah Fedex maybe you can sell 6000 albums this time. Its really really bad. LMAO. She had so much stress going on in her life that she finally snapped. It happens all the time. A permanent conservatorship can be lifted if she goes to court and proves to the judge that she is mentally stable. She is not concerned about that. She is punking you haters and she is putting on a show that no other could pull off. Yes she had a breakdown but that does not mean she is crazy. She will reveal in her tour in Circus that she in completely stable and whens she returns she will take the millions she will make from Circus and probably turn it it into a Broadway show. It certainly has the potential to be just that. What she is doing and Jive, Larry and everyone else knows she is letting the world see first hand what it is like being a superstar. And
The coke daddy lets her have, but not the coke she prefers.
It is a lot of very hard work. It is not teens that are buying her music it is people from 13-50 plus. She is greaaaat. We love her. Britney is doing exactly what she intended to do. She learned from Madonna how to reinvent yourself over and over. That is exactly what she is doing and there is more to come. Watch and see if what I say is not the truth. You people that hate on her are pychotic and desperate. You are bitching tonight because of her skin color which you know is not there skin color. It is the lighting. To the dumb ass bitch up that posted her handlers would not allow her to have any sugar I got news for you honey Coca-Cola has a lot of sugar in it. In other words for you that are STUPID, she had sugar last night and is still skinny and beautiful and she is ot worried about it. Britney has a lot more freedom that most of you do. She has fame, beauty, money, a gorgeous house, a family that loves her, beautiful children, and if you really believe this c-ship is holding her back you are fools. Her father is looking after her and keeping all the sharks like OSAMA away. She and her people know exactly what they are doing. That is why Circus is such a wonderful album and is such a huge hit. Britney is a talented and brilliant woman with an IQ that is well above average almost gifted which is only a few points away from being a genius. It is not uncommon at all for people with high IQ's to not know how to manage their own lives. Take my dare. I can guarantee by the end of summer you all will know the entire story and the real truth of Britney Spears child prodigy, Pop Princes, now Queen of Pop. She has a earned every bit of it and if you think she does not write you are foolish. She has some major directors working with her. Nobody bought this album out of sympathy. The economy is too bad to do that. They bought it because it is really good. Only superstars of her caliber get the best of the best to work with them on videos. She is the best of the best.Check Billboards numbers below!
Oh, she's faking all this? 9:35, you are the single biggest gullible dumbass I have seen here in a long time! And while I do not speak for the other person who got your panties in a wring, they seem to be saying that there is so much pressure and expectation from her fans that it will ultimately do damage to her. I tend to believe this is particularly true of the ravenous fans who think she is near perfection and flawless and expect the same return from her. But seeing how you so easily miss any and all subtlety and given how completely gullible you have shown yourself to be, none of this comes as a surprise. Some unsolicited advice for you, the round pegs fit in the round holes and the square pegs fit into the square holes. Rather simplistic, but you obviously need such a basis.
Broadway shows don't involve lip-synching. She knows more about parenting (tee hee hee) than she does about broadway. If she made a broadway show you would have to call it dumbbroad-way!
Oh 9:55, too much to say. But I will say that freedom is a very relative term and it has been shown that this is in very small, almost no existent quantities for her. If you think she has a truly free lifestyle, filled with self determination, than you do not seem to recognize what extreme limitations the conservatorship places on her. I would say that a convicted felonious criminal on parole has more freedom that she does. That is a fact!
'then' not 'than'-missed that mistake.

You are such a fool. All you have going on in your life is living at X17 and you are talking trash to me. You are making a fool of yourself and you should be getting a little disturbed about doing that by now. You post non- stop here and you attack everyone. You do not want the truth you want to be noticed. Britney Spears has made an amazing album and you don't know what to do except harass and try to trash. It does not work with me sugar. I know your game and I know you are an obsessed sick person who needs psychiatric help and a lot of it. You want me to be upset by what you wrote but I am not I am laughing at you just as Britney is having had the last laugh at you. She just keeps making you look foolish. You can't take it anymore can you. You want to make someone notice you. Well her you are. I read you post and as usual you said nothing. Yes this is an act and it is part of her show. Hide and watch. You seem to know a lot about pegs and holes. Whats the matter honey is that all you have to play with these days and you sneak down each night to get online. Britney is here to stay and you are a loser. Her fans out number idiots like 1000 to 1. Proof is in the numbers. Britney is #1 everywhere in the world right now. You are just a nobody. Nobody cares. You talk to yourself and you even bore yourself. You sure bore me. This is about Britney not you PIG I mean PEG.

Did you know Britney's IQ is that a couple points from being a gifted person 127 and that she was a child prodigy, Did you know that she was a concert pianist as well. Of course you didn't know. She's the ring leader, she calls the shots. Did you notice that Circus is # 1 Hot Digital Songs and that Womanizer her other sing she release as as single is holding in the 11 position. Another broken record.
10:15, wow, you are sure easy to upset, aren't you? And projecting on people on a blog is a sure sign of weakness. And you were also my first post of the day. Personally, I do not mind if people like her music, as that was not my point. I actually admire honest and reasonable fans like what was stated @ 7:31. Props to that person, so I may not be your ideal hater type. I respect honesty and the ability to see the truth, as that person showed, but it is easily flustered people like you that paint targets on themselves. You have shown no ability to argue effectively and your use of projection would be humorous, if it wasn't such a pathetic attempt at an insult. I do not invest my heart and soul into blogs and supposed stars, so I am not so vested in this entire mess as you have shown yourself to be, in a most imbalanced fashion. It is fanatics like you that scare the very stars you haunt. I pity you on so many levels that you will never be capable of understanding. Good luck with your life, as you will need it.
10:25, let me ask you a serious question. Did you get the 125 IQ from the IQ adverts on various blogs. Because if you, they make the #s up to generate interest in their site. I am not saying what her IQ is, but it is probably not that number.
On the other subject, all indications are that her every movement is micromanaged within an inch of its' life. I wouldn't call that, or the constraints of the c-ship, exactly being a 'ring leader'. More like a struggling person being heavily manipulated by just about everyone else in her life.
Sorry, I'm a bit distracted, hence some typos.
who wore it better Britney or Jess? celebrity gossip page 48.Britney maybe letting jess know with the making of the funny faces.so funny
OMG is that a COKE in her hand? don't think I've EVER seen that PEPSI is gonna be pissed
WHAT is the allure with her? She looks like death walking, she is no class, no talent and no clue!
She learned from Madonna how to reinvent yourself over and over.
Weird I don’t remember Madonna reinventing herself as a filthy, child abusing, drunken, drugged up, snatch flashing, random scumbag humping asshole.
she look so old compare to her age group , beyonce, nicole, even women that are older than her look 100x younger ala Angelina, halle. she donot deserve to have a #1 song when people are not even playing that crap on the radio.Billboards need to chng eheir rules. i don't get how dowloading song can be on the hot 100.
britney spears a prodigy???????????? rotflmao. . . . my kindergartner is smarter than she is. whateva
look old?
I see that there are people here who do not know what is lighting.
If you're in photos with these picks flashs, will always give that impression
I'm surprised no one said anything about her dying her hair so blonde! I haven't seen it this blonde since 2004. She looks great though. People can say ALL they want about her but it's not going to stop her from having the 2nd biggest opening week for a female artist this week, she beat Beyonce, Madonna, Janet and Mariah in sales.
U all have nothing else to do,than put 100 comments of 4 photos of Britney! The best thing is that you all argue too lol
