Why do people wish death on Britney? That's such a cruel thing to wish on anyone, especially someone who has done nothing personally to hurt you. I read that she has paid/planned for her own funeral. I do not know if this is true, but if it is, it's a bad sign. People only do this if they are preparing to die. I'm rooting for Britney as one person rooting for another, hoping against hope that she can find herself and get better. Hoping for the best for someone. After the emergency hearing about Britney's driving, the judge changed his mind and said neither had to be present today. (Kaplan said to the press that his client would not be there after that emergency hearing. It's still on video here on this site.) This is most likely because the itinerary changed and, when the judge set the date for them to return, he thought things would be changing for the better for Britney but now things are worse so there is no need for the two to be there.

There will be people from Child Welfare Services and they will concentrate on Christmas schedules. etc. because she ain't even about to get the kids back any time soon.

People! Keep up! The judge set court dates for November, January 2008, and April 2008 way back. This is a scheduled court date originally to see how things were going and to possibly modify the custody situation depending on how things were going.

This has been on the docket since the start. They originally were both supposed to be there but now that certain things have happened, the judge is not ordering them to be there. They most likely will have to be there in January though.

The hope (on the court's part) was that by now, things would have improved with Britney and they could possibly give her more time and/or take the monitor away.

I think they should show up every time there's a court date. Prove to the court you are interested in your kids!
