MasterBlaster, the woman has no musical talent. I understand that you can't hear the autotune clipping on her tracks, but I know you can hear all the layering, filtering, digital delay and compression. Frank Zappa and Britney, are a poor comparison. Zappa wrote much of the music and spent months in the studio perfecting his songs. Britney depends on programs like protools and knowledgeable engineers as well as fantastic songwriters. She is easily the most overprocessed artist in the industry. I can't stand listening to any of the projects that bare her name, because all I hear are the multitude of digital bandaids applied in the studio. Let me say that she is far from the only one this applies to, but when you say that her talent brings joy to people, I hope you realize that the talent you hear came from the engineers and musicians on the project, not from Britney Spears.
