Dr. Phil's Public Apology

Dr. Phil McGraw's caught a lot of heat over his handling of Britney Spears' hospitalization saga - and now, Page Six says he's issuing a public apology.
"Was it helpful to the situation?" the television therapist asks his audience during today's show. "Regrettably, no, it was not, and I have to acknowledge that and I do."
"I definitely think that if I had to do it over again, I probably wouldn't have said a word. I don't think I've helped the situation so far."
That's not to say that McGraw is apologizing for everything, however. "My intention has always been good," he told Page Six. "I do not apologize for trying to be a friend and do something."
Luckily for the good Doctor, it doesn't appear that his wife's friend Lynne Spears will be holding his indiscretion against him - Page Six quotes a show insider as saying that "there's no bad blood between Lynne, Phil, and his wife Robin."
Britney's father Jamie, however still holds a grudge: "[Jamie] thought Dr. Phil would be able to talk Britney out of checking out of Cedars against medical advice, and when she still insisted on leaving, Jamie turned on Dr. Phil."
Hopefully Jamie takes Dr. Phil's apology seriously - it sure strikes us as sincere!

I can't stand Dr. Phil. If you have followed this story from the start you will see that Dr. Phil does not even have a license to practice psychiatry. He is an egotistical maniac that was the brain-child of another asshole, Oprah Winfrey. They are as thick as thieves and totally worthless in the realm of truly helping anyone. Every time they attempt to do anything remotely well for society, it's turned into another "look at me ... look at what I did" segment. There's not one ounce of genuine care in their body. They are both media whores.
As for Britney - I think she will continue to be a media whore as long as the public continues to eat her shit on a daily basis. For God's sake, stop following around this pathetic excuse of an entertainer.
